Alexander Lacazette has revealed that one of the reasons he came to Arsenal was to experience our festive period, and the game against Liverpool gave him the perfect experience.

The Premier league is notorious for its very congestive Christmas period. While other leagues go on a two weeks break, EPL has 70 games to squeeze into 10 days. but our striker Lacazette is unfazed about it, in fact he is looking forward to it.

“One of the reasons I came to London was so I could experience this period,” he told  Arsenal.com

“They’ve given me quite a few tips on nutrition, on how to be careful and get a lot of rest. They also told me how, despite it all, I should enjoy time with my nearest and dearest because often, people who are close to you come to London during this time.

“They’ll come for the holidays. In France, it’s the school holidays and so my brothers and parents can come to London and we can enjoy the Christmas holidays in London as a family.

“When every weekend you watch the Premier League, you tell yourself, one day why not? You think about one day feeling that atmosphere and experiencing that time in December, experiencing a season in the Premier League and knowing what it’s like.”

The club record signing has been doing very well for the club so far this season, and seems to be improving with every game. The busy Christmas period is always a big physical test to new player from different countries, and he seems to be adapting well.

With Giroud out injured he might be afforded next to no rest this period, However I think he will do just fine without back up.

What do you think? Will he do well or will he suffer a burn out? Leave your comments below.
