Arsenal play host to German Bundesliga side FC Cologne at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night in what promises to be a thrilling encounter as the Gunners begin their Europa Cup title quest.

The two teams have met twice so far. They played two club-friendly games in 2011 and 2012. Both times Arsenal played away, and both times they took the win. Once with a score of 1 – 2, and the other time with 0 – 4.

Needless to say, Arsenal are the favourites in this fixture. Due to the upcoming tough duel against Chelsea, we are probably going to save their key players. Nevertheless, that should not stop them from gaining three points easily.

Here is how we expect the boss to lineup his side against Cologne in a 3-4-2-1 formation.
