[4-2-3-1] Wilshere, Ozil, Alexis and Lacazette Start in Strongest Arsenal XI vs Crystal Palace

Nacho Monreal was forced off with an ankle injury in the 3-3 draw with Liverpool and is a doubt for the trip to Crystal Palace.

He was replaced by Shkodran Mustafi on Friday night and the German could now be restored to the starting XI at Selhurst Park.

Elswhere in the back four, Ainsley Maitland-Niles looks set to retain his start at left-back ahead of Sead Kolasinac.

With Arsenal playing on Thursday night, changes due to fatigue appear less likely, so Jack Wilshere and Granit Xhaka may again start at the base of midfield in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny provide cover in the middle of the park.

Danny Welbeck is an option to replace Alex Iwobi, with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette all expected to retain their starts in attack.

Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud remain out, while Santi Cazorla is a long-term absentee.
