Arsenal and Chelsea star target Dean Henderson is now set to stay at the club and will pen a new three-year deal at Old Trafford.
The England U21 international spent last season on loan at Shrewsbury – where he kept 19 clean sheets and was named in the team of the year.
Henderson’s contract was set to expire this summer and he had attracted plenty of Premier League interest.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle are all reported to be interested in the 21-year-old and United believed he would leave the club for free.
However, United never took their offer off the table and the Sun report Henderson has made a u-turn and will sign a new three-year deal at the club.
The deal is a two-year contract with the option of a further 12 months and United plan on sending Henderson to a Championship club on loan next season.
Stoke City have shown interest in the youngster as they prepare to sell Jack Butland to the highest bidder.
