Jurgen Klopp has a number of concerns in defence for Sunday’s clash with West Ham.
Dejan Lovren is not yet match fit, while Joe Gomez and Joel Matip have trained and will be assessed. Ragnar Klavan, meanwhile, is expected to miss out.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has featured in recent friendlies and is favourite for the right-back role, with Virgil Van Dijk and Andrew Robertson also likely starters. In midfield, Fabinho (illness) and James Milner (head) will be monitored.
Naby Keita and Georginio Wijnaldum are expected to start, while Jordan Henderson is also pushing for a role ahead of Adam Lallana should Fabinho miss out.
Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah are the obvious names in the front three, though Xherdan Shaqiri looks set for bench-warming duties unless Klopp springs a surprise and opts for a 4-2-3-1.
