Barcelona are set to sign both Ander Herrera and Daley Blind from Manchester United, with the Spanish side free to negotiate with the duo, according to the Express.
Both Herrera and Daley Blind are in the last six months of their contracts, and according to the Bosman rule, foreign clubs can begin to speak with them to sign a pre-contract.
Blind and Herrera are in that position and with no extension in sight, Barcelona are now set to make a steal.
The Catalan side are in need of a defender to replace the outgoing Javier Masherano and are said to admire Blind versatility, as the Dutchman can play in midfield, center back and left back.
Ernesto Valverde is also believed to be interested in reuniting with Andre Herrera who he managed during his time at Athletic Bilbao.
On a free the duo would be a huge steal for Barcelona, and a loss for United especially Ander Herrera who has been impressive before the signing of Matic reduced his role in the team.
Ander Herrera would be a quality squad player and one that United would do well to keep, he might not be comfortable with the playing time on offer, but then he is not likely to get better at Barcelona.
What do you think? Should United let them go on a free or should they renew? Drop your opinions below.
