Arsenal and Chelsea have reportedly been placed on red alert as PSG prepare to sell up to five players in January.
The French club splashed big to sign Neymar from Barcelona in the summer and are also set to spend big again next year.
Neymar cost £196m in the summer while Mbappe also moved to Paris for a loan deal with a mandatory clause to buy for £165m at the end of season. A potential outlay of €400m in two years means they might have to sell some of their current stars in order to comply with the financial fair play rules.
PSG are now considering selling up to five players in the January transfer window, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo via the Daily Cannon.
Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler, Kevin Trapp, Javier Pastore and Lucas Moura are the five names that could be axed in the new year.
Arsenal were linked with Draxler and Moura in the summer and it is almost inevitable that they won’t be linked with a move to the Emirates when the transfer window reopens.
Whether Arsenal will show keen interest in any of these players remains to be seen. Wenger had always been reluctant to spend big in the January transfer window and has on several occasions even called for it to be scrapped. It is unlikely he will now want to make a major signing in the window.
