Arsene Wenger has indicated interest in signing Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco who plies his trade for Atletico Madrid, according to the Daily Cannon.
The Arsenal manager has been a long time admirer of Carrasco even before he moved to Atletico, and with Diego Simeone standing gallant having secured a deal to land ex-Sevilla star Vitolo, the future of the Belgian in the Spanish side now seems uncertain.
However, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is keen on pairing the 24 years old with his Belgian team mate Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge.
The news will likely be of interest to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who has had the Belgian watched before and also admitted on Wednesday that he is prepared to spend in January if need be.
