Arsenal have been reported to be interested in signing South American sensation Federico Martinez, but would however have to see off interest from Premier League rivals Everton.
The speedster plies his trade with Liverpool, not the rivals in England but Liverpool of the Uruguayan League.

The Sun via HITC reports that North London outfit Arsenal and Premier League rivals Everton are interested in signing Martinez. The report further states that it is Everton who have stepped up their interest in the 21-year-old winger.
Spanish side Atletico Madrid are also credited with an interest in the youngster, as per the same source.
Following the departure of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the last window and the expected departure of Alexis Sanchez in one of the next two windows, the Emirates is already crying out for the arrival of a talented wideman.
