Arsenal joins Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in battle for signing Schalke’s attacking midfielder Max Meyer in the summer transfer window.
Meyer has scored one goal and created 25 chances in 24 Bundesliga matches for Schalke so far this season. During the 2015-16 campaign the youngster scored five goals and created 45 chances in 32 League appearances for the Royal Blue making him a high target for big European Clubs.
Schalke star Max Meyer is set to come to a final decision over where he will play his football next season in March after been ruled out of a possible January exit.
Max is set to become a free agent in the summer when his contract expires, which has led to an air of uncertainty over his future at Schalke.
Heidel said: ‘’Max will be deciding shortly if he wants to stay at Schalke past the summer. Max is very happy here, Schalke is his home, we will try to make him as comfortable financially as possible.’’
