The 27-year-old Spain international Santi Cazorla has made a deal & signed in for Arsenal and joined up with the pre-season training camp in Germany after finishing a £16.5 million move from Malaga. Football Bible has published before Arsenal’s new targets about Cazorla move. Now it has been happened.
Santi Cazorla left Malaga as they eased their financial troubles. But now santi is going to make his debut with Arsenal in Sunday’s friendly game against Cologne once the announcement was made & clear.
Arsenal FC chief Arsene Wenger said: “Santi Cazorla is a great signing for us. He is a player with good experience, who will definetly add quality to our Team”.
He is well versatile, attacking midfield player who can play comfortably on either side of the pitch or centrally. He has good pace, is technically gifted and will be a huge asset to Arsenal Football Club. We are delighted that he is joining us.
The sure-footed attacking midfielder, who was voted Spanish Player of the Year in 2007, said: “I’m so happy & excited to be a part of Arsenal. It’s a club with great players, a fantastic stadium and enormous support. It also has one of the great managers in football and their style of play is recognised and admired across the globe.
“I’m so eager to be joining one of the greatest teams in Europe and also in the Premier League“. I will do my best to help Arsenal challenge for trophies and make all the supporters happy.
He signed Malaga 1year ago for €19 million, and the playmaker’s performances in guiding the club to fourth spot in La Liga and a Champions League qualifying position should have increased his value even further.
However, last week Malaga given a statement via their club’s website announcing that a period of “internal financial restructuring” was mandatory to meet UEFA’s incoming Financial Fair Play regulations, meaning Cazorla is available at a cut-price.
