Arsenal are believed to be interested in signing PSV winger Hirving Lozano.
Despite being new to European football, the Mexican international who has been in superb form for the Dutch side so far this season is attracting a lot of interest.
With star forward Alexis Sanchez set to depart the Emirates in one of the next two windows coupled with the difficulty in trying to finalize a deal for Thomas Lemar last summer, Wenger is understood to be monitoring a few top talents around Europe.
Recent reports have revealed that Wenger is prepared to swoop for the talented wideman having been impressed by numerous scout reports.
According to Xania News via Gunnersphere, Arsenal are considering a €25m (£22m) bid for PSV wideman Lozano.
The report further states that Gunners head scout Alex Rowley has been watching the Eredivisie club in recent weeks, keeping a close eye on potential targets, and has been most impressed by Lazano.
The 22-year-old only signed from Pachuca for €8m in July, but it seems that Arsenal are already lining up a move for him.
It is also understood that the Gunners won’t sign him in the January transfer window but are prepared to make an offer for the player ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
With the departure of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the last window and the expected departure of Alexis Sanchez in one of the next two windows, the Emirates is already crying out for the arrival of a talented wideman next year.
The winger generally plays from the left, but he is also adept at playing from the right hand side. This season, Lozano has already scored six goals and provided four assists in just six league appearances.
