Benzema: I want to win the Champions League with Madrid

Karim Benzema says he is happy with Real Madrid even he is not included first XI in most of the matches.


He started 12 games in La Liga for Real Madrid but he named for 22 games. France striker is doing battle for his first team list.

Benzema said: “I feel good, but I’d be happier if I was playing more. But I’m in a club like Real so I can only be happy,”

“At big clubs, it’s the same everywhere.”

If he plays more games than present, he will be happier than now and shows some positive stand for team.

He trusts Jose Mourinho and expecting more support from him to spend more time in field.

“It’s up to me to put in good performances when I’m on the pitch.

“My relationship with the coach is one of a coach and a player. That’s it. I accept his choices. He’s the coach, he decides, and I have nothing to add to that. And when I don’t play, I’m there for the team too.”

After losing La Liga title, Real Madrid is concentrating only for 10th cup in Champions League. Benzema also wants a part of this great glory.

“I want to win the Champions League with Madrid,” he added.

“Ever since my first year here, people have been talking to me about this tenth Champions League. It would be extraordinary to win it, and we’re going to do all we can to do that this season.”

Karim Benzema is playing for Real Madrid since 2009 and scored 52 goals till now.
