Liverpool are willing to offer Juventus €90 million (£80m) in signing Paulo Dybala this summer, according to Sky Sports.
The Reds missed out in a deal to bring Lyon star Nabil Fekir miss, Sky Sports claims Liverpool have opened talks in an effort to begin negotiation over Dybala.
Liverpool pulled out of a £53m deal to sign the France international this summer after discovering an old knee issue in his Reds medical.
Dybala’s Juve future is currently up in the air following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old’s game time could be reduced after Ronaldo decided to quit La Liga and head to Serie A.
And the bookies reckon Liverpool are the favourites to sign Dybala this summer, with Jurgen Klopp priced at 4/1 to sign the Juve star after receiving a flurry of bets this morning.
“Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Juventus could signal the end of Dybala’s career in Turin and if this latest gamble is anything to go by, it is Liverpool who may be leading the race to sign the Argentina international this summer,” said Coral’s John Hill.
Real Madrid are next in line to land Dybala, priced at 5/1, while Arsenal are also in the running at 8/1.
It is understood that the Merseyside club have already been in contact with his representatives, Dybala is currently on holidays in his native Argentina and has not been informed of Juventus’ intentions of selling him this summer.
Liverpool have been busy in the transfer window, with Klopp signing midfield duo Naby Keita and Fabinho.
