Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Paris Saint Germain winger Lucas Moura in view to making a future move.
Moura was one of the wingers linked with Arsenal in the summer transfer window but nothing concrete materialized, perhaps PSG weren’t willing to sell.
Moura just returned from injury and played his first game of the season on Saturday against Metz but he is unlikely to be a starter at PSG this term due to the plethora of big money stars at the French club.
Neymar and Mbappe both of whom joined the club a combined €400m in the summer as well as Cavani, are Emery’s first choice attacking trident and Moura will have to make do with a substitute role at the French club.
And according to Calcio Mercato via Gunnersphere, Arsenal will monitor Moura’s situation closely.
Should the winger show any sign of discontent, Wenger who is in the market for a new winger could make a move to sign him.
Thomas Lemar and Raheem Sterling are two other wingers believed to be on Arsenal’s radar but Moura could be a cheaper and more attainable option for us if he becomes frustrated with a bit part role at PSG.
The forward scored 19 goals and 11 assists last season, his best return since he joined the French club in 2013. He should be looking to build on last season’s performances and a bit part role at PSG is not the best step for him.
