Arsenal have targeted PSV forward Hirving Lozano as a replacement for Oliver Giroud, the Gunners could reportedly swoop for the exciting striker should Giroud, who is a target for a host of European clubs, push for a move in the winter transfer window.

Since the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette at the Emirates last summer window, the 31-year-old Giroud who has been a victim of the Gunners strength in depth in attack may be very well tempted by a move away from the Emirates as he is yet to start a Premier League game thus far this season.

The French forward is understood to be considering making a switch mid-season to secure his spot in the French squad heading for the World Cup next summer having recently fallen behind teammate Lacazette in the pecking order of the national side.

According to Sky Sports via Squakwa, should Giroud try to force an exit in January, the Gunners would look to replace him immediately.

The report states that Arsenal have already cast their eyes on potential replacements with Mexico’s rising star Lozano high on their wishlist. Despite being new to European football, the Mexican international has been in superb form for the Dutch side so far this season.

The report further states that Gunners head scout Alex Rowley has been watching the Eredivisie club in recent weeks to keep a close eye on Lazano.

The 22-year-old who only singed from Pachuca for €8million in July already has six goals and four assists to his name after just six league appearances.

Former Chelsea defender Alex has urged Lucas Moura to join Arsenal in the winter transfer window.

The Brazilian has been reportedly identified by Wenger as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

It’s being claimed that Arsenal could make a move for Moura in January and Alex has urged him to take up the chance if the Gunners come calling.

Moura has only made two substitutes appearances for PSG this season, he’s fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Alex has now urged him to move on if he is ever going to fulfill his potential.

Speaking to L’Equipe via the Daily Mail, Alex said: ‘I would like to see him at Arsenal.

‘They play cleaner football, more technical.

‘He had contacts, I believe. That would be a good option for him this winter.’

Moura situation is a bit unfortunate, considering last season was his best on a personal level since he joined the French club in 2013.

He would have been hoping to play a prominent role this season but the big money summer arrivals have pushed him further down the pecking order.

Arsenal could get Moura on a cheap in January if he continues to be on the fringe of PSG’s first team.

The French club may also be compelled to sell some of their players due to the ongoing investigations from UEFA for financial fair play irregularities and Moura could be moved on to help them balance their books.

Antonio Conte has urged Charly Musonda to concentrate on his football and he will get chances to prove himself at Chelsea.

The 21 year old took to instagram last week to lash out at the lack of first team opportunities at Chelsea, although the club has since handled the issue, Musonda has been told to focus on his game rather than social media.

In the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Crystal Palace, Conte confirmed he held talks with the forward and that he now understands he has to continue working hard if he wants to break into the first team

“I spoke with him and I think Charly understood his mistake,” Conte said. “Honestly, I think he has to continue to work very hard to improve himself on the physical aspect and on the tactical aspect, but he is working very well.

“He must continue to work in the way that he is and to be focused on the pitch and not on social media, because social media is not the most important thing for his career. I told him this and my task is to help him always find the right way, not the wrong way.

“Honestly I think, above all with young players, it is very important to speak with them and to try to explain which is the right way. I did this. I am sure that he understood and I don’t see a problem with him.

“I think of the expression ‘we must be focused on the present’. The only things I can tell for sure are that he is a talented player and I see him very well. He is a really good prospect, to become an important player for Chelsea. I am sure about this. He has to continue to work in this way and for sure the opportunity will come.

“Charly could have a good opportunity this season to play because we only have three No.10s: Hazard, Willian and Pedro. Usually two No 10s play, so this season could be good for him to show that he deserves to play.”

Musonda subsequently featured in Chelsea’s defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday but couldn’t make any difference as the team went on to lose 2-1. He had a superb chance to draw the team level after he came on as a substitute but blew it over the bar.

If Musonda is to force his way into Conte’s starting xi, it is opportunities like this that he has to take. He will get more chances to prove his quality, hopefully he takes them next time.

Antonio Conte has debunked reports that he is looking to leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

Reports have been doing the rounds that Conte is unhappy at Stamford Bridge and is seriously considering a return to his homeland.

Conte has now clarified that he isn’t considering leaving Chelsea before the end of his current contract.

The Italian says the interview he granted in his native language in September, which fueled these exit rumors was poorly translated.

The Italian’s contract at Chelsea doesn’t expire until 2019 and he is ready to stay here at least until then.

He said: ‘From two weeks I am reading wrong things also because I did an interview two weeks ago and I am sure the translation was wrong because I only said one day in the future I would like to go back to Italy.

‘One day in the future but I know very well my position. I have two years on my contract with Chelsea to go and I’m happy to work for this club, with my players and I like to work with my players.

‘I like to have this great feeling with our fans, our supporters and I don’t see problems.

‘Another situation I want to clarify is my family is staying with me here. They are not staying in Italy (unlike last season). My daughter is going to school here in Cobham.’

Conte then refused to confirm whether he will stay at Chelsea beyond the length of his current contract. If the Italian is going to stay here for long or not, it will depend on the board’s backing.

Should he get his desired target and all the backing from the top brasses at the club, he could end up staying here for a long time.

Chelsea are one of the fourteen clubs interested in Manchester United youngster Dean Henderson.

Henderson, a goalkeeper by trade is a man with huge potential and is highly rated by those at Old Trafford.

With his Manchester United contract running out at the end of the season, as many as fourteen clubs are already looking to sign him up.

According to the Mirror, the goalkeeper is now weighing up whether to sign a new deal or move to another club where he would make a fresh start to life.

Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Watford, Stoke, West Brom and Southampton are the Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the goalkeeper while Benfica, Udinese and Olympiakos are some of the foreign clubs chasing him.

Henderson was part of the England squad that won the U-20 squad and and currently on loan at League One side Shrewsbury.

Chelsea have more than three dozens of players out on loan. The club’s policy is that, it signs talented players at a young age and send them out on loan to continue their development. So it isn’t surprising that we are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Henderson. It remains to be seen whether the youngster consider our policy as the best path to top level football or not.

Claudio Ranieri

Claudio Ranieri doesn’t buy into reports that Antonio Conte will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

Reports say Conte’s unhappy at Stamford Bridge, after the club failed to back him in the transfer market with his preferred targets.

The manager even fueled those exit rumors, after he granted an interview where he stated he misses Italy.

And Ranieri believes Conte’s comment is because of the club’s difficult transfer window and not necessarily because he wants to return home.

“The Premier League remains the top, and I’m not convinced by Conte’s homesickness,” he said of Conte’s comments about returning to Italy.

“Maybe he was expecting a different transfer campaign, but for a few years now [Roman] Abramovich hasn’t been doing crazy spending. “Manchester United and Manchester City have made great signings, so I imagine it’s more draining for Antonio to be fighting on two fronts with the same players.”

Conte guided Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first year in England but is now finding it more difficult this time around, after both Manchester clubs strengthened their club considerably in the summer.

However, Chelsea’s activities in the transfer window frustrated us as fans, so it isn’t surprising that the manager is unhappy about it.

Conte’s achievements last season have endeared him to the heart of Chelsea”s supporters and many of us will be keen to see him stay for a long time.

Paris Saint Germain have made N’Golo Kante their top target next summer, according to reports.

Kante is the current PFA player of the year and one can hardly disagree that it is fully deserved after his title winning performances for both Chelsea last year and Leicester City the year before.

He has established himself as one of Europe’s best midfielders and PSG are now keen to make him their next big money signing.

The French club signed Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr in the summer for a combined fee that would reach £300m but it seems they aren’t willing to stop there as they are planning to spend big on Kante next summer.

According to the Mirror the French club have set aside a £90m budget to sign the midfielder.

The midfielder who is from Paris rejected a move to PSG before he joined Chelsea but that doesn’t look like it has deterred the French club who are desperate to assemble a squad capable of challenging for the Champions League title.

Chelsea are unlikely to sanction such a deal even though it would receive more than double the amount they paid for the midfielder in 2015. It’s going to be difficult to replace Kante and again selling him will send a message to fans and rival clubs that we aren’t interested in building a team capable of challenging for titles.

Kante is just into the first two years of his five year contract at Chelsea, meaning the club still have the power to decide what happens with him, whether he leaves or not.

Paris Saint Germain have emerged as favorites for the signature of Genoa youngster Pietro Pellegri, according to reports.

The 16 year old striker broke into Genoa’s first team last season and has continued his fine form this season.

According to reports a host of clubs have been impressed with Pellegri’s performance since he came onto the scene.

Chelsea are believed to be one of the clubs interested in the teenager and have sent scouts to watch him on several occasions.

Genoa have subsequently placed a £40m price tag on Pellegri due to the number of clubs circling around him

Conte is a big fan of the striker and would love to bring him to Stamford Bridge but will now have to step up his interest if it want to beat PSG to his signature.

The Blues have more than three dozens of similar talented players out on loan. The club signs players in their teens and then send them out on loan to continue their development.

While PSG aren’t making use of the loan system as much as Chelsea do, they have been signing talented players at their young age and developing them into top stars.

Marco Verratti was signed at 19 from Pescara for just €12m, Lucas Moura joined from Brazil as a teenager and Pellegri may feel he would have a more clear-cut path into the first team in Paris.

Thibaut Courtois wants to join Real Madrid so as to move closer to his family.

The Belgium international is believed to be on Madrid’s radar as Fiorentino Perez steps up his effort to sell Keylor Navas.

It was claimed earlier in the week that Courtois is snubbing a new contract at Chelsea in order to push for a move to Madrid.

And Diario Gol has published a recent development, claiming the goalkeeper is already putting in place underground works ahead of a summer move.

They claim Courtois is already looking for luxury properties in the La Finca district of Madrid.

Courtois kids are with his former girlfriend in Madrid and he is reportedly keen on moving closer to them.

Real Madrid chief Fiorentino Perez believes Courtois would be keen on a move to the Bernabeu and is in regular contact with the player’s intermediaries.

A fee of €60m has been mooted but Tribal Football says Madrid won’t pay up to that amount.

If Madrid isn’t willing to spend big on Courtois, I don’t see Chelsea selling him.

The Blues have no interest whatsoever to lose the goalkeeper, meaning it would take an outrageous offer to tempt them into selling.

Courtois joined Chelsea in 2011 and spent three years at Atletico before he returned to Chelsea. He has since established himself as one of the Premier League’s best goalkeepers, helping Chelsea to two Premier League titles.
