Sky Sports Confirm Ross Barkley Set For Shock London January Switch

Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea will battle for Ross Barkley’s signature in January, according to HITC Sports via Sky Sports.

The midfielder turned down a move to Chelsea in the summer after Everton agreed a £30m deal with the Blues.

It was widely reported that the proposed move to Chelsea didn’t go through because he wasn’t given the opportunity to seek assurances about his place in the team from Antonio Conte.

Barkley will now wait until January before pushing for a move away from Everton.

However, Chelsea still retain strong Interest in the midfielder and will try to sign him in January but would now face competition from Tottenham.

Mauricio Pochettino is a big admirer of Barkley and has been trying to sign him since last summer. However, he didn’t bother making a bid this summer because the player was out injured.

Since a move to Chelsea fell through, Spurs are likely to return for him in the winter when he is fully fit.

According to the Telegraph both clubs will be looking to pay around £20m for a midfielder who Chelsea was supposed to pay £35m on some weeks ago.

Barkley’s contract expires at the end of next season and Everton know they could lose him for free if a club doesn’t sign him in January, hence are ready to accept a reduced fee for the midfielder.

With both Tottenham and Chelsea representing a lucrative destination for the midfielder, Barkley has a few more months to figure where would favor him the most. Spurs have an advantage for several reasons but I believe we can pull this off if we are determined to.

Arsenal Handed Huge Transfer Blow As Club Insists Star Will Cost £135m

Arsenal are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic, according to reports.

The American midfielder has been impressive for Dortmund in recent months and is now attracting interests from a host of big European clubs.

According to the Daily Cannon, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Real Madrid are some of the club’s interested in the midfielder.

At 19, Pulisic is already the face of America football and he is expected to achieve big things in the future. He’s already a first team regular at Dortmund, making a total of 43 appearances for the Germans last season.

Dortmund have no interest in selling the midfielder and if their decision to hold out for £135m for Dembele in the summer is anything to go by, Arsenal or other interested parties will have to pay similar figure for Pulisic.

Young talented players being linked with Arsenal isn’t a surprising thing as we have proven to be a burgeoning ground for a lot of talents in the past. However, Arsenal have its own talents coming through and would be better off focusing on these ones rather than spending big on others like Pulisic.

This is not to say Pulisic wouldn’t be a good signing, we will get better value for money by improving the ones in our ranks already instead of looking outside.

Boss Planning Shock January Bid For Star Winger Coman

Chelsea are planning a bid for Steaua Bucharest winger Florinel Coman, according to reports.

Technical director Micheal Emenalo was reportedly in Romania last week to watch the youngster in action.

Coman a winger by trade is one of Europe’s most talented teenager and has been praised not only for his talents but also his versatility.

The 19 year old is comfortable playing anywhere across the front three and has featured five times for Romania U21.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are keeping tabs on the forward and have sent top officials to watch him in action.

Chelsea would have to spend big if they want to sign Coman as Bucharest owner Gigi Becali has inserted an £88m release clause in the youngster’s contract.

Becali says he rates the winger as high as Kylian Mbappe who moved to PSG for a deal worth more than £150m.

Chelsea are yet to firm up their interest but it is expected that we’ll look to negotiate a lower fee for the forward if we decide to make a move for him.

Spending £88m on a player who isn’t tested in any of Europe’s big leagues won’t make sense and no club official in his right thinking sense would pay that much.

Former Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge believes the club must sign a back up striker to assist Alvaro Morata in January.

Morata has hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge, scoring seven goals in nine games.

However, Bridge thinks the striker will need some help if he is going to guide Chelsea to titles this season.

“I really like him but I expect them to probably sign another centre-forward in January,” he told The Sun.

“Not to replace Morata but someone either to work with him or they can change.

“Someone physically a bit stronger and who wants to bully defenders.” Bridge added: “Morata has obvious quality – he’s quick, he’s running in behind and scoring goals with his head and his feet.

“He’s a totally different player in terms of what Chelsea are used to, with the likes of Didier Drogba and Costa who are big and strong and bullied defenders.

“With the likes of Fabregas who can slip him in, with the runs that he makes he’s going to get chances.”

Bridge words can’t be any truer, Morata limped out of Chelsea’s game against City on Saturday, exposing the need for a quality back up striker.

Michy Batshuayi hasn’t proven to be good enough and it seems Conte doesn’t trust him enough to replace the Spaniard.

A striker in January could become a necessity if we want to challenge with the Manchester clubs.

Good News For Gunners As Star Man Confirm He Wants To Stay At Arsenal

Jack Wilshere has revealed he wants to continue at Arsenal and is waiting for a new contract from the club.

The midfielder is currently being linked with a move away from the Emirates, with reports claiming he won’t be offered a new one.

But Wilshere has revealed he wants to stay at Arsenal. Speaking to the Guardian [via the Daily Cannon], the midfielder said:

“Do I see myself staying? Of course I do.

“I have always been at Arsenal, I love this club.

“They have been good to me over the years, I have a great relationship with the boss. He has played me since I was 17. He has put his trust in me since then. We have a great understanding and of course I want to stay.”

Wilshere has been struggling with injuries for the past few years and Arsenal apparently wants him to prove his fitness before offering him a new deal.

The midfielder just recovered from a broken leg injury sustained while playing for Bournemouth last season but surprisingly looked sharp against Borisov on Thursday.

He reminded us all about his quality and was one of our best players on the pitch on Thursday night. All he just needs to do is to stay fit for the entire season, I am sure Arsenal will look to offer him a new deal.

Arsenal In Hot Transfer Battle With Chelsea and Man Utd For Serie A Sensation

Chelsea and Manchester United are set to go head to head for the signature of Genoa youngster Pietro Pellegri, according to reports.

The 17 year old striker broke into Genoa’s first team last season and has continued his fine form this season.

According to reports a host of clubs have been impressed with Pellegri’s performance since he came onto the scene.

And AC Milan, Juventus as well as Arsenal are some of the clubs also keen on the teenager.

Genoa have now placed a £40m price tag on Pellegri due to the number of clubs circling around him

Chelsea are believed to be watching the teenager with keen interest but could be put off by the news that Genoa president Enrico Preziozi will only consider a sale if his valuation is met.

According to the Sun, Conte is a big fan of the midfielder and would love to bring him to Stamford Bridge. The Blues appear light in the centre forward position and signing a new striker could appeal to the boss.

However, I don’t think the 16 year old will be a solution for the present, he’ll be definitely be one for the future.

The Blues have more than three dozens of players on loan. The club signs players in their teens and then send them out on loan to continue their development and then return to the club later in the future.

Arsenal Star Makes Huge Statement Insists Wenger Doesn’t Trust Ozil Anymore

Martin Keown says Arsene Wenger doesn’t trust Mesut Ozil anymore.

This does sound bizzare and it would even sound more ridiculous when you find out the reason for Keown’s claim.

According to the former Gunner, Wenger left Ozil out of the starting xi against West Brom last Monday because he doesn’t trust him anymore.

The boss mentioned before and after the game that Ozil wasn’t fit enough to start the game but Keown saw the German starting on the bench in a different way.

“Ozil is the one I wouldn’t trust as much mentally, and I believe he’s not playing tonight because the gaffer really can’t trust him any more,” Keown told BBC Radio 5 Live via Daily Cannon.

“I think it’s a huge story that Ozil doesn’t play tonight.

“If you look at their pre-seasons, Ozil wasn’t in the German squad in the summer, he came back on the very first day of pre-season, and didn’t then start the season, there was a bit of suspicion around him.

“Last year he went missing for a couple of months and I think that’s his tactic in terms of getting away from the football club.

“I don’t know, but I have a feeling that he’s going to take his reliability away from selection.”

Keown’s claim is strange especially as everyone knew Ozil missed the Chelsea game due to a knee injury.

He only just recovered from injury before the game against West Brom and still came off the bench in that game.

Prior to that, the German started all of Arsenal’s first three games of the season, none of these points at Wenger not trusting him.

Boss Finally Confirm Interest In Signing Sensational Star Ezri Konza

Follow Footballbible on Facebook and Twitter to get up to date football related news from the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and other leagues around the World. News From Chelsea, Everton, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Charlton Arsenal boss Karl Robinson claims Arsenal are one of the clubs chasing teenage defender Ezri Konza.

The League One side manager says Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton have contacted his club over the availability of the talented defender.

“We’re getting phone calls about Ez from Premier League clubs,” he said, as quoted by the Daily Cannon.

“They’ve been asking for a price tag. We’ve got a high one. The boy won’t go until they meet our criteria.

“It’s the same with Ademola Lookman. My argument is if we sell players, there has to be money put back into the team to go forward, otherwise you’re devaluing your own team.

“The Ademola money went for more infrastructural reasons. Did I like that as a manager? No. But we have to have a base at this academy that makes great players for the next 10, 15, 20 years. I want to make sure it’s not about a selfish immediate gain.

“But I think if Ezri Konsa goes, people have to be aware we’ve done it before with Ademola.

“[But] we have to have an injection to make this team better again.

There’s a difference now where we’re starting to build ourselves.”

Ademola Lookman was the last Charlton player that Arsenal were linked with but he ended up joining the Toffess. If Wenger is actually serious about signing Konsa, he will be hoping he is successful this time around.

Arsenal’s scouting network was recently extended into the lower leagues and the club has begun to snap up talented players from those leagues. Rob Holding and Cohen Bramall are prime examples of players who joined us from the lower leagues in the past few seasons.

Arsenal Target Christian Pulisic To Cost More Than Arsenal Can Afford
