Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma are leading Arsenal in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs interested in Ceballos who is struggling for game time at the Bernabeu.

It’s being claimed that AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Arsenal are all expressing interest in signing Ceballos and could make a move for him in January

But II Posticipo via the Daily Cannon say it is Roma who are favorites to sign the midfielder.

Roma’s sporting director Monchi is said to be preparing a bid to sign ceballos in order to beat rivals to the midfielder’s signature.

Ceballos who moved to the Bernabeu from Real Betis last summer wasn’t Zidane’s choice but it was Fiorentino Perez who pushed for his signing. So i would like to think it is unlikely that Perez would give up on a player he personally pushed to sign just six months after.

It is true that Ceballos isn’t playing regularly but what would you expect when you are competing with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luca Modric, Isco, Matheo Kovacic. I don’t see Madrid letting him join Arsenal or any other club in January.

Leon Goretzka Set To Join Arsenal, But Gunners Face One Big Problem

Barcelona have hatched a plan to sign Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka and are set to beat Arsenal to the midfielder’s signature, according to the Daily Mail.

Goretzka has been linked with Arsenal since last season.

It was widely expected that Wenger would step up his pursuit of the midfielder in the summer but Schalke has been able to keep the midfielder suitors at arms length.

With his contract expiring at the end of the season and the midfielder looking unlikely to sign a new deal, it was thought that Arsenal’s chance to finally sign him has arrived.

But the Daily Mail are claiming, it is Barcelona who are set to secure his signature.

The Catalans made contact with Goretzka recently and have promised to offer him a huge signing-on fee to join them.

It is claimed that Barcelona are confident of signing a pre-contract agreement with the 22 year old in January when he will be free to enter into negotiations with any of his suitors.

This will come as a big blow to Arsenal who sent scouts to watch him on several occasions in the past year.

Barcelona see Goretzka as a cheaper option to Mesut Ozil who is reportedly demanding huge wages. If they sign Goretzka, it will give Arsenal a huge boost in keeping Ozil, which is what I am sure every Gooner would prefer.

Arsenal are one of the numerous clubs reportedly interested in Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

When a Madrid player isn’t playing or performing as much as expected, the Spanish media are fond of linking them with an exit and Arsenal are always touted as suitors.

Last week it was Karim Benzema, yesterday it was Marco Asensio and now it is Ceballos.

Just like Asensio, Arsenal are one of almost six clubs interested in Ceballos.

This report unsurprisingly originated from Diario Go [via Tribal Football] and it claims AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Arsenal are all expressing interest in signing Ceballos.

To make their claim sound more credible, they say the midfielder who moved to the Bernabeu from Real Betis last summer wasn’t Zidane’s choice but Fiorentino Perez’s, who pushed for his signing.

Even if true, it is unlikely that Perez would give up on a player he personally pushed to sign just six months after.

I don’t need anyone to tell me that Madrid will sell Ceballos in the summer and also, I don’t need to be told that Arsenal aren’t interested in the midfielder.

Arsenal Set To Beat Liverpool, Chelsea & Spurs to Sign Goretzka

Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka.

Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in Goretzka and have  been monitoring his situation for well over a year. His contract expires at the end of the season and doesn’t look like he wants to sign a new deal at Schalke.

And the Sun via Sports Mole claim Arsenal have intensified interest in Goretzka as we begin to look up for potential replacements for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that Barcelona are confident of signing the midfielder in January when he would be free to enter into talks with suitors in the new year.

The Spanish giants are hoping to tempt the midfielder by promising him a huge signing-on fee, making this report a bit surprising.

Whether we’ll actually be able to beat Barca and other free spending clubs to the midfielder’s signature remains to be seen.

Goretzka recently revealed he will make a decision in January. Hopefully Arsenal will be able to convince him to snub rivals interests. I am a bit hopeful about this especially after we beat a host of top clubs to sign Sead Kolasinac last summer. If we can do it then, we can do it now.

Arsenal Dealt Huge Transfer Blow As Gunners Told Gomes Will Not Leave

Arsenal have been dealt a severe blow in the upcoming winter transfer window as it is understood that they will not get the chance to sign Andre Gomes from Barcelona in January.

Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen on reinvigorating his midfield next year and thus Arsenal who were linked with Gomes in last summer’s transfer window still retain an interest.

As early as last week, reports in Spain claimed Barcelona were willing to include Gomes in a swap deal to sign Ozil but Portuguese paper A’Bola The Mirror have revealed that will not happen.

Gomes is a product of Benfica’s academy and established himself as one of Europe’s most talented midfielder at the Portuguese club and later on in Valencia before completing a £44m move to the Camp Nou last year.

However, he has failed to live up to expectations at Barca and is now being linked with a move away.

Despite the 23 year old’s mixed debut season at the Camp Nou, he is still regarded as one of Europe’s most promising deep lying midfielders but it was always going to be highly unlikely for him to move to the Emirates at the midpoint of the season.

Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with Gomes but they will also have to wait until next summer at the very least.

The Portuguese international has been plagued by minor fitness problems of late but returned to the fray to produce an impressive display against Sporting Lisbon.

Chelsea Favourites Ahead Of Arsenal To Sign Watford Star Richarlison

Chelsea have been installed as favorites to sign Arsenal target Richarlison by the bookies.

Richarlison has had a bright start to life in the Premier League after joining Watford for around £11m last summer.

The ease with which the former Fluminese man has taken to the Premier League is unsurprisingly attracting lots of interest from the Premier League big boys.

Following the loss of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the last window and the expected departure of Alexis Sanchez in one of the next two windows, Wenger is understood to be monitoring a few top talents around Europe capable of injecting some much needed quality on the flanks.

It then makes it difficult for Arsenal not to be linked with these kind of talents, especially players like Richarlison who has been compared to the outstanding Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Daily Star , the top four clubs interested in the Brazilian are Everton, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal.

However bookmakers Ladbrokes say London rivals Chelsea are the ones leading the race to sign the winger.

The Blues are placed at an odd of 13/10, while Tottenham follow closely at 2/1. Arsenal have only been given an outside chance, along with Everton to sign the Brazilian.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Richarlison has been the bees knees for the Hornets this season, but with four top sides swarming around the Brazilian star, the buzz could soon go out on Watford’s campaign.”

The speedster was impressive against the Gunners at Vickerage Road earlier in the campaign, he won the penalty that initiated Watford’s come from behind victory against the Gunners. Much like Richarlison, Wenger should endeavor he also comes from behind to win the race for the player’s signature.

Schalke Agree To Sell Goretzka As Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal & Spurs Ready Bid

Schalke 04 may have no option but to sell Arsenal target Leon Goretzka in the January transfer window.

The young German has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all believed to be keen on his services.

Ideally, Schalke want to keep the midfielder but they know they face the prospect of losing him for nothing in the summer if he doesn’t extend his contract which runs out at the end of the season.

The Bundesliga outfit has offered Goretzka a club record €12m per season contract but he’s yet to respond to the offer. They have now handed an ultimatum to him, demanding an answer before Christmas.

According to the Tribalfootball, Schalke will look to sell Goretzka in January if he turns down the new offer.

Four of the Premier league’s top six are believed to be chasing the midfielder but it was reported last week that it is Arsenal and Liverpool who are leading the race to sign him.

Arsenal may well use Goretzka’s relationship with Sead Kolasinac who joined us as a free agent from Schalke last summer to edge out Liverpool.

Goretzka established himself as Germany’s next big talent last season with his super performances and continued his fine form at the FIFA Confederations Cup which took place last summer. He continued this season where he left off last season and is now drawing a lot of interest. He’s proven he can play at the top level and I am keen to see Arsenal secure his signing.

Race To Sign Goretzka: Arsenal and Liverpool Ahead of Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City and Spurs

Arsenal and Liverpool are leading the race to sign Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka, according to reports.

Goretzka is attracting interest from a host of top clubs and it has emerged that Arsenal are one of his likeliest destination at the moment.

The midfielder’s contract at Schalke expires at the end of the season and he looks set to leave, after turning down several contract renewals.

According to the Express, Goretzka wants to move to the Premier League and his representatives are already in contact with English suitors.

According to the report, Arsenal and Liverpool are the two frontrunners in the race to sign Goretzka.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on the midfielder but are behind in the race for his services.

Klopp is in regular contact with Goretzka’s representatives in a bid to convince him to choose Anfield, while Wenger is a big fan and have sent scouts to watch him on several occasions.

Arsenal may need to sign a new midfielder, as both Wilshere and Ozil could leave when their contract expires at the end of the season.

Hopefully, Goretzka’s former teammate Sead Kolasinac who is now a Gunner can play a part in luring the midfielder to the Emirates.

Arsenal hope to sign the German on a free transfer in the summer just like we did with Kolasinac last summer but that doesn’t rule out the possibility of a January bid as we may have to make an early move t secure his signature.
