Udinese have placed a price tag on Arsenal target Jakub Jankto, according to reports.

Wenger is reportedly keen on signing a midfielder this January as Wenger look for options to bolster his midfield for the second half of the season.

And reports in Italy reckon that Jankto is high on Arsenal’s radar.

Arsenal are expected to renew it’s interest in the Udinese midfielder, having monitored him closely in the past one year.

Reports had suggested that the 21 year old has a £6m release clause in his contract but it has now emerged that he would cost a lot more than that figure.

According to Gazetta dello Sport via the Daily Cannon, Arsenal will need to cough out up to £22m to sign the midfielder.

Jankto seem to have a good amount of experience playing at the top level but still I don’t think he’s good enough to make the step up to a club like Arsenal.

He featured 29 times in the league for Udinese last season and scored 5 goals, he has made 14 this season and has three goals to his name, which is not a bad return for a midfielder.

I expect Arsenal to move for a more experienced target if we are looking for someone to strengthen our midfield. A player like Jankto will be one for the future.

Arsenal Set To Sign Real Madrid Star But Face Huge Battle From Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma are leading Arsenal in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs interested in Ceballos who is struggling for game time at the Bernabeu.

It’s being claimed that AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Arsenal are all expressing interest in signing Ceballos and could make a move for him in January

But II Posticipo via the Daily Cannon say it is Roma who are favorites to sign the midfielder.

Roma’s sporting director Monchi is said to be preparing a bid to sign ceballos in order to beat rivals to the midfielder’s signature.

Ceballos who moved to the Bernabeu from Real Betis last summer wasn’t Zidane’s choice but it was Fiorentino Perez who pushed for his signing. So i would like to think it is unlikely that Perez would give up on a player he personally pushed to sign just six months after.

It is true that Ceballos isn’t playing regularly but what would you expect when you are competing with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luca Modric, Isco, Matheo Kovacic. I don’t see Madrid letting him join Arsenal or any other club in January.

AC Milan Boss Hints At Selling Andre Silva To Arsenal in January

Arsenal could make a move for AC Milan forward Andre Silva after new Milan boss Genero Gattuso talked up the sale of the young striker.

The Portuguese striker was heavily linked with Arsenal before he joined Milan for £33m in the summer but has so far failed to live up to expectations.

He’s yet to score a goal for Milan in the Serie A and the club is gradually running out of patience with him.

Arsenal are one of the clubs that have been linked with Silva and it is being claimed the club’s search for Alexis Sanchez’s replacement could see Wenger sign the Portuguese international if the opportunity arises.

It appears the opportunity is here now after Gattuso hinted at selling the striker.

“He is a player with great qualities and is also very young, Daily Cannon reports the new Milan boss said.

I think he has a good rating in the transfer market.

“He is a good striker and if you put him on the market, you will quickly find a buyer. He can be sold easily, especially since I have not seen him do a one-two in a long time.”

Although Silva has been touted as a replacement for Sanchez, he is more of a centre forward, which makes it unlikely that Arsenal will be making a move for him as a direct replacement for Sanchez.

If Silva is to leave the San Siro, he will be looking to join a club where he can play regularly considering he is currently at a stage where first team football is very crucial for him developing into a top class forward.

At the Emirates currently, the presence of summer signing Alexander Lacazette could stand between him and regular first team football.

1st January Signing? – Wenger Submit £35m Bid For Powerful Serie A Star

Arsenal are interested in signing Juventus defender Daniele Rugani but have been unsuccessful in all of its attempts to get the defender, according to reports.

The Gunners have been constantly linked with the 23 year old in the last three summer transfer windows but nothing concrete has happened.

Wenger is apparently a big fan of the talented defender and despite it being obvious that our chances of signing him are slim, reports in Italy haven’t just stopped linking us with him.

With the winter transfer window fast approaching, Italian publication Tuttosport via the Daily Cannon are saying Arsenal remain interested in Rugani

However, the report say Juventus have continued to rebuff all of our attempts to sign the defender.

The report also claims Arsenal’s latest bid of around £35m wasn’t good enough to convince Juve to part with the promising defender.

The Italian giants were hoping Rugani would replace their veteran centre back Bonucci who left for Milan in the summer but the young defender has only made ten appearances since the start of the season.

Despite his failure to establish himself in Juve’s starting xi, the Italians are not prepared to sell. Perhaps for the same reason we are reportedly keen on signing him.

Another Arsenal Defender on His Way Out Of The Emirates In January

Juventus are interested in signing Shkodran Mustafi in January, according to the Daily Cannon.

Despite Wenger ruling out the sale of any member of the team in January, reports haven’t stopped linking some players with an exit.

One of the surprising names that’s been rumored to be on the way out is Mustafi.

The defender recently revealed he isn’t considering leaving the Emirates anytime soon but that hasn’t been enough to shut the exit rumors.

He was heavily linked with a move to Inter in the summer transfer window but the move failed after Arsenal refused to sell.

And now it is Juventus who are reportedly keen on his signature.

I would like to imagine that Arsenal won’t entertain any bid for the German in the new year. It’s barely 18 months Mustafi joined us and although he’s had some tough times, he’s arguably one of our best defenders.

If you look at his performance against Manchester United last month, it would be hard to believe that Wenger would sanction his sale.

Why Mustafi is being linked with a move away from Arsenal is beyond me. He’s adapted well to the demands of the Premier League and is on his day one of  competitions best centre back. I would like to think there is nothing in these reports.

Chelsea & Arsenal Battle For Star Man Who Has Just £6m Release Clause

Chelsea are set to rival Arsenal for Jakub’s Jankto, according to reports.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the young midfielder and club scouts have been watching him for well over a year.

Jankto is seen by many as one of Serie A’s brightest talents and has also been linked with top Italian clubs like Milan and Juventus.

However, there is a new suitor for the midfielder. According to Corriere dello Sport via the Daily Cannon, Chelsea have joined the race to sign Jankto.

With Jack Wilshere’s future at Arsenal largely uncertain, a move for Jankto could be appealing to the club but the amount of clubs interested in his services means we may have to work harder to sign him.

Jankto has made a bright start to the current campaign, scoring two goals and assisting two more.

Reports claim he has a £6m release clause in his contract which shouldn’t be a problem for Arsenal but it may come down to who is ready to offer the highest wages.

Arsenal have an history of being prudent in the transfer market so it won’t be out of place if we say the club will not be forced into paying what it thinks the player deserves.

Chelsea would be willing to pay him whatever he wants but if he places his career first, the Emirates could be the best destination for him.

Arsenal In Hot Transfer Battle With Chelsea, PSG and AC Milan For Dembele

AC Milan are the latest club to be linked with Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, who is understood to be high on Arsenal’s radar.

Arsenal scouts have reportedly watched Dembele on numerous occasions in the past one year, with reports claiming we are keeping an eye on his development, with the view of making a future move.

According to the Scottish Sun via Daily Cannon, it isn’t only Arsenal who are keen on the striker. Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea and Milan are also big admirers of the 21 year old.

Milan scouts were present at Celtic’s 7-1 loss to Paris Saint Germain last week to watch the striker in action.

Although valued at £20m, Celtic are expected to demand a lot more than that especially with the number of clubs after him.

Arsenal are long term admirers of Dembele and tried to sign him on a free transfer from Fulham in 2016 but he opted to join Celtic.

He has developed into a top talent within this short period of time. Since moving to Celtic Park, Dembele has had a direct involvement in 52 goals (40 goals and 12 assists) for Celtic in just 64 games.

Dembele’s contract at Celtic doesn’t run out until 2020, so the Scottish club won’t be under any pressure to sell. However, should a suitor stump up a huge offer, they might be very well tempted to do business.

If the Frenchman would decide to move to the Emirates is left to be seen, he is at a stage of his career where he needs to play regularly to continue to develop.

The Gunners only recently splashed out £50million on Dembele’s compatriot Alexander Lacazette last summer and he will stand between Dembele and first team football in North London.

Two European Giants Battle Arsenal In Race To Sign Creative Midfield Star

Arsenal will face competition from Olmypique Marseille and AC Milan for the services of Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to the Daily Cannon.

Reports in Turkey have continuously linked Arsenal with a move for Ozyakup who has been impressive for Besiktas in recent years.

The midfielder came through Arsenal academy, but didn’t make a league debut for the club before he was sold.

Arsenal are understood to be impressed by Ozyakup’s development and are now lining up a move for him.

His contract at Besiktas expires at the end of the season and it doesn’t appear like he is interested in signing a new deal.

Arsenal are monitoring developments closely and could make a move to sign him in the future.

We’re rumored to be preparing a January bid for him but I think Arsenal are keen on getting him on a free transfer, considering we allowed him leave for a lot less than £1m.

Arsenal are entitled to 30% of Ozyakup’s transfer fee if Besiktas decides to sell in January and the Turkish giants are reluctant to pay Arsenal any money.

They’ve supposedly held talks with the club over the possibility of scrapping out the sell-on clause but they were turned down.

With six months left in his contract, Besiktas won’t be able to make enough profit from his sale in January because of the clause, so they might favor him running down his contract.

Arsenal would now have to battle the likes of Marseille and Milan for his signature in the summer.

It remains to be seen whether Ozyakup would want to return to a club where he couldn’t get the chance to make his debut.

If he does decide to return, he won’t be a bad signing.
