Cech supports Torres

Fernando Torres is the top player on news this week because of his missed goal against Manchester United. Everybody talks about his miss, but no one ready to comment his scored goal. The way he scored the goal against Manchester United was excellent one. It has good control, good timing, and good placement, but it did not come out.
Last match of Chelsea against Manchester United was a good energetic game for Chelsea. Though it is a loss for Chelsea, it does not mean they are in loser side. The most important thing we should agree that we saw Fernando Torres’s real game. Torres played very well like his old games at Liverpool. Torres should bounce back from all these negative reviews and remove his bad name. At one point of time every top players failed to prove themselves it does not mean they are poor. In football, it’s common to everyone; sometimes it succeeded, sometimes failed.

Chelsea goal keeper Petr Cech has talked about Torres.
Cech said: “This is one thing in football that happens and what he can remember is he played really well and scored a great goal.
“I can see every time the guy is improving. At Stoke, he had a brilliant match and was unlucky not to score.
“He created both goals against Bayer Leverkusen and against United he created a huge chance for Ramires in the first half, which would have been a simple tap-in if he’d left it for Daniel Sturridge.
“He also scored a great goal and then got himself another opportunity.
“I don’t know what happened to make him miss but I am not worried about it, he will score goals.”
“We know we didn’t take our chances in the first half and that we didn’t play well.
He added: “But we have to be very positive about the way we came back and fought to the last second in the second half — that is basically what the manager told us as well.
“We know that we lost the game but we did enough to get something out of it.
“We are improving every game and the score doesn’t reflect how we played.
“Some people could say that 3-1 looks an easy game for them but that was not the case.
“If you count the chances, they scored from the free-kick where there was a doubt over it being offside, then a wonder goal from Nani and then a lucky deflection for Wayne Rooney’s goal.
“You could see this was a game between two teams in form and the difference was they took their chances.”
