Willian has admitted he would leave Chelsea if Barcelona or Real Madrid came knocking.
Willian put in a stunning performance in Chelsea’s win over Hull in the FA Cup on Friday night, scoring twice in the 4-0 victory.
The Brazil international has largely been used in cup competitions by Antonio Conte this season, leading to reports he could be on his way out in the summer.
The 29-year-old – who has been linked with a switch to Manchester United in the past – has revealed he would not say no to a move.
However, he has admitted it would have to be to a European superpower like Barcelona or Real Madrid to tempt him into leaving Stamford Bridge.
In a Q&A with Brazilian YouTube channel Resenha Delas, Willian was asked which clubs he would consider joining, to which he replied: “Barcelona and Real Madrid.
“I think they are the two biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid and Barcelona. More visibility.
“It’s everyone’s dream to play for these clubs. Of course there are other great ones, like the one I play for, Chelsea, and PSG, other greats.
“But these two are different. These are two that everyone has the dream to play for.”
Willian is unlikely to have either side chasing him in the summer, although, former goalkeeper and pundit Shaka Hislop thinks he should begin looking for a new club.
When asked if the Brazilian’s lack of game time should prompt him to leave, Hislop said: “Without question.
“When you look at Willian and what he did at Shakhtar [Donetsk] and then Anzhi [Makhachkala], how good he is.
“He is making some mooted overtures towards Spanish football. I think he moves. I’m surprised at how infrequently he has been used, he can’t be happy about it either.”
