Arsenal are understood to be one of the clubs to have reportedly made contact with Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio.
According to Diario Gol via Tribal Football, Asensio is seriously considering his options and could leave the European Champions at the end of the season.
The report further states that Premier League clubs are already in contact with Spanish international.
They point at Asensio being unhappy at not being a starter at Madrid despite Perez’s summer promises of more playing time.
However looking at it critically, Asensio has featured more than he did last term so a case could be made against him being unhappy.
Why it can be argued that Asensio is gradually becoming a key player at the Bernabeu, it is however out of place to suggest he is definitely happy with life at the Bernabeu as it should however be noted that he still plays from the bench and is still not a starter for the Spanish giants despite the ability he posses at such a young age.
The player would definitely be aware of the key status former teammate and close friend Alvaro Morata is enjoying at Chelsea since his summer move away from Madrid.
European giants Juventus and PSG are also reportedly in contact with the winger.
Arsenal are in the market for a new winger as Alexis Sanchez looks set to leave for free when his contract expires at the end of the season. Asensio would be a perfect signing if Madrid opt against keeping an unhappy player.
It’s also being claimed the winger won’t consider any offers until June as he wants to wait to see if he’ll play more before the end of the season.
