Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is understood to be interested in a move away from the Emirates in the upcoming winter transfer window.
The English international who is into the last year of his contract with the Gunners is said to be very concerned about the amount of game time he will receive at the Emirates as he still harbors plans of forcing his way into Gareth Southgate’s squad for the World Cup next summer.
Sources close to the player have revealed that the 25-year-old believes that he has been fit enough to be heavily involved since the start of the season, the midfielder is now seriously considering a move away from the club in order to guarantee regular playing time with another Premier League side which would boost his World Cup hopes.
All that is according to the Times via Daily Cannon, who further reported London rivals West Ham United and Crystal Palace as potential destinations for Wilshere.
The midfielder has so far been limited to games in the Cup competitions, he has featured in both the Carabao Cup and the Europa League this season.
With no news to report regarding an extension to his contract that runs out at the end of the current campaign, a move by the player either on temporary or permanent basis will spell the end of the end of his Arsenal career.
It will be sad to see Wilshere, who has been at the club since he was nine, leave without fulfilling his obvious potential after all the hopes Gooners had on him when he broke into the first team in 2009.
