Antonio Conte will be without the suspended Tiemoue Bakayoko for the home encounter against West Bromwich Albion, but Marcos Alonso is likely to be fit to return after being left out as a precaution against Watford.

The Spaniard looks set to start at left wing-back, with Victor Moses expected to edge out Davide Zappacosta on the opposite flank.

Cesc Fabregas will be the likely replacement for Bakayoko in the middle of the park, with Danny Drinkwater the other alternative.

David Luiz was handed a rare start in central defence against the Hornets, but Antonio Rudiger could replace the Brazilian.

Andreas Christensen is unlikely to be ready to return following a hamstring injury. After playing 26 minutes as a substitute on Monday, Olivier Giroud could make his first Chelsea start.

With Pedro a slight doubt due to a knock, Willian and Eden Hazard may start in the advanced midfield positions in a 3-4-2-1 system. Ross Barkley (hamstring) and Alvaro Morata (back) remain doubts.
