Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea may be forced to play a waiting game should they wish to sign Nice star Jean Michael Seri, reports claim.
As far as Seri is concerned, the Ivory Coast international would supposedly fetch £35million and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed.
Seri was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the last two transfer windows after his sensational midfield display in the Ligue 1.
Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool were all keen on his signature in both of those transfer windows, with Wenger looking to bloster his injury-prone creative midfielder.
Man Utd also looked at Seri with Jose Mourinho heavily criticized for his side’s lack in creativity.
Liverpool on the other hand joined the race to sign Seri since Barcelona turned on the heat to land Coutinho last summer, before eventually signing him in January. So Jurgen Klopp basically wants him as a replacement for the Brazilian star.
While Chelsea are looking to make key changes to their midfield personnel in a bid to challenge for major titles next season.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, Seri won’t make a decision on whether to join the west London outfit until Antonio Conte’s future is sorted. Leaving Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd in pole position to secure a deal for the midfield genius this summer.
