After all the drama against the French giants PSG, Barcelona FC qualified for the Semi-finals again. They will be itching to get their hands on the precious trophy once again after missing it last season. Well, before they can do that, they will have to overcome the newly crowned German champions Bayern Munich, who have been in the great form this season in all the competitions.

The German side has the opportunity to win the treble this season if they manage to win their domestic German cup and the Champions league. Surely, they have the bitter memories of last season final where they lost on penalties to the English club Chelsea FC, but Coach Jupp Heynckes will ensure that the nightmares of the previous season final do not come again to haunt his squad again.

Barcelona FC and Bayern Munich semi-final will surely be a delight to watch as both teams are flooding with creative players and match winners who on their day can turn the tables with the magical skills. The first leg of the semi-final is scheduled on 23rd April at the Allianz arena.

The other semi-final also features a German and Spanish side. The last season Bundesliga winners Borussia Dortmund will take on the nine times champions league winning club Real Madrid. Both sides played each other twice earlier in the group stages of the tournament. It is tough to pick a winner from this game also, because both sides possess talented players, who can win the match for their side on their day.

Journey to this stage of the tournament for the German outfit has been nothing less than the story line of the dramatic blockbuster Hollywood movie-script. Two goals in the injury time against the Malaga CF sealed the last four spot in the tournament as they won on the aggregate score of 3-2.

On the other hand, Real Madrid enjoyed smooth ride to the semi final as they rolled over the Turkish team Galatasaray in the first leg of the quarter final, but took a bump in the second leg away from home. However, 5-3 aggregate score is a comfortable score line. Well, that is it from the Champions League preview, will be back with more updates for the football lovers.
