Arsenal striker Oliver Giroud continues to linked with a move away from the Emirates with sustained Premier League interest in his signature.
Following the arrival of £50million marksman Alexander Lacazette in last summer’s transfer window, Giroud has repeatedly been linked a move away from the Emirates.
During the Premier League clubs were rumoured to be monitoring the player’s situation in North London with Everton rumoured amongst those with concrete interest in the French striker.
The Toffees who are currently feeling the effects of not singing a replacement for Romelu Lukaku will reportedly return for Giroud in the winter transfer window with the player open to making a move.
According to the Mirror via Daily Cannon, Giroud is now keen to push through a move to Merseyside, as he has seen his first-team opportunities limited by Lacazette.
The 30-year-old has admittedly been a victim of the Gunners squad strength as he is yet to start a Premier League game this season.
The striker who was initially understood to be relishing the prospect of competing for a place in the team now seems to be frustrated by the increasing lack of game time.
Though the French international continues to divide opinion amongst Gooners, there is however no argument about his finishing ability having become the Gunners latest centurion by netting last night to take his tally to a hundred in Arsenal colors.
