Arsenal have once again been linked with a move for CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, according to Goal.

The report claim he is already learning English ahead of his anticipated move to the Premier League with Chelsea and Manchester United also keen on a move for him, the Metro reports.

Golovin has set up two goals for his team-mates at the tournament in Russia as the hosts enjoy a dream start to the World Cup.

The playmaker has carried his good form from the season into the competition, after a fantastic club campaign at CSKA Moscow.

The Russia international’s father revealed this week his son was trying to get his English up to scratch which has fuelled speculation of a deal soon to happen.

“Sasha [Russian variation on Aleksandr] does not even read this news so as not to clog his head during the World Cup,” Golovin Sr told Komsomolskaya Pravda.

“He now has one thing on his mind: the Russian team. But if such proposals are made, I believe that he will go abroad, play abroad.

“There football is of a different level, there is nowhere to hide. Speeds are different. I’m sure my son will be able to play at a new level.

“It will be more difficult with a foreign language. But I know that Sasha has already started learning English.”

Arsenal will have to act fast as an Exclusive from calciomercato, claims Juventus have made an offer of £17.5m for his signature.

Golovin laid on six assists and scored seven times in 43 appearances, as CSKA Moscow narrowly missed out on a league title.
