Gareth Bale believes that he can be very excited, if he play for Real Madrid in Champions League semi-finals.
Bale has scored a fantastic long goal against Real Sociedad in La Liga and suffered with a knee injury, which cost him to miss the Champions League second-leg against Borussia Dortmund.
Los Blancos has a tough La Liga schedule, but they are looking for the 10th Champions League victory. Former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho failed to achieve this while he was in Spain.
24-year-old Bale said his company with Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo is healthy and gives positive energy to score more. Their BBC line up ( Bale, Benzema, Cristiano) gives them 31 goals so far.
‘It is obviously great playing with great players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema but I think the whole team has been performing well all season and we are enjoying it very much,’
He added that he feels more comfortable in Spain than England and he believes his style remains same.
‘I don’t feel I’ve changed too much,’
‘I think there is more emphasis on possession here in Spain than in the Premier League, but my style hasn’t changed greatly and I feel comfortable playing here.’
Real Madrid got massive result against Dortmund, who destroyed Real’s Champions League dream last year, so they have more chances to enter in semi-finals.
If they enter semis, that is the first Champions League‘s big entry for Bale.
‘We have to beat Dortmund first and get to the semi-final. If we get too carried away, things will obviously turn very bad for us,’
‘I’ve never played there, but I’ve watched it on TV and heard about it. There is supposed to be an unbelievable atmosphere. Also Lewandowski is a great player and he has proved that over the years but we just have to do our normal job, like we did in the home leg.’
