Former Manchester United player Giuseppe Rossi is willing to join Serie A; his agent has confirmed this news. He did only 14 appearances in the last term for Villareal.
Rossi joined Villareal in 2007, and he appeared 136 matches and scored 54 goals so far. Last season he suffered many days with injury, and club didn’t give him enough chances.
Now he would like to join for Italy, but he doesn’t want to rejoin his previous club Parma. He is looking forward to joining top teams of last season.
25-year-old striker went to Parma on loan from Newcastle United in 2006, and again, he moved to La Liga’s Villareal. He was the top scorer of Villareal in 2010-11.
Rossi’s agent Federico Pastorello has told Rossi is ready to go Italy, but there is no call for him, until now.
Pastorello told: “Milan? I don’t know if contact with the Rossoneri has been made, but Rossi would definitely say yes if he was approached by Milan.
“For Giuseppe Rossi the transfer market will start in the last few weeks of the transfer window. He wishes to play in Serie A again and I expect a call from Italian clubs.
He added: “He could be very useful to Napoli and Roma. Inter also need younger players in their squad. Juventus lacks a top player and Milan have to replace the strikers that have left the club.”
Serie A top two teams Juventus and AC Milan are searching for strikers now. Milan have sold their top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic to France’s club team Paris St-Germain, so they need to find a good striker on his place.
Juventus won Serie A title last term, but they should improve their goal difference in final points table.
If he can go to Italy, he will play good because he is in an important period to his career.
