Chelsea star Eden Hazard has deflected questions about interest from Real Madrid as he prepares to go into battle with Barcelona.
Chelsea host Barcelona in the first leg of their last-16 clash at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Spanish media have descended on London for the game but are also keen to get Hazard’s take on interest from Real Madrid.
Express Sport understands Real are keen to get a deal for Hazard in place before the summer.
But Hazard insists his full focus for now is on Chelsea.
“For the time being I’m here, there are still some months to go and competitions to try to win, then the World Cup is coming up,” Hazard said.
“I’m here, I still have two-and-a-half years on my contract.
“I’m very settled here and playing every game.
“The fans like me a lot and my family likes it here. We’ll see.”
Hazard was also asked if he was flattered by Real Madrid’s interest, to which he replied: “Yes, but it’s been several years now they’re interested — when it’s not Real, it’s Paris, when it’s not Paris, it’s Real. I’m happy where I am.”
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has come under mounting pressure this season as the Blues sit fourth in the Premier League table.
But Hazard insists the players are fully behind the Italian and are working hard to try and get through to the next round of the Champions League.
“We win together, we lose together,” Hazard told Telefoot.
“I don’t sense there’s any player who’s not with the coach.
“Everyone is behind him. All we want is to climb the table — and give everything against Barcelona.
“We will see what happens after.
