Italian giants Inter Milan are set to battle Arsenal for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura in the winter transfer window when it opens in January next year.
The Brazilian international is understandably frustrated with life in the French capital as he continues to struggle for regular game time. The winger was already out of the first team before PSG’s heavy recruitment in last summer’s window.
The player who is understood to be considering a switch from the Parc des Princes has previously been reported as a target for Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners would however have to see off interest from the Nerazzurri who are keen on the Brazilian to bolster their attacking ranks.
According to Calciomercato, the Nerazzurri will make an attempt to sign the Brazilian in January given the talented winger’s lack of game time at PSG.
Inter, however, would only be interested in signing Lucas on loan as the club is not willing to invest a lot of money in the winter transfer window.
Manchester united are also credited with an interest in the tricky winger, Jose Mourinho who was keen on a move for a wide forward in the just concluded window continues to monitor his targets.
Wenger would however do well to oust his rivals to the signature of the Brazilian.
With the departure of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the last window and the expected departure of Alexis Sanchez in one of the next two windows, the Emirates is already crying out for the arrival of a talented wideman.
