Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that captain Jordan Henderson picked up a dead leg during the goalless draw with Porto.
Liverpool progressed to the quarter-final of the Champions League thanks to a 5-0 aggregate win over the Portuguese outfit.
However, Klopp will now have to turn his squad around quickly as they have a crucial Premier League battle with Manchester United on Saturday (12.30pm).
But the German claims his skipper will be fit and raring to go for the trip to Old Trafford – when the Reds can return to second in the table with victory.
“[Jordan] Henderson got a dead leg in the last minute but that should be all good,” he said.
“Everybody else is OK. No issues. We are fine.”
Klopp also expressed his delight at progressing to the last eight of the European competition.
“We did the job and that was it tonight,” he added.
“It wasn’t the most exciting game but we controlled it, had a few chances, got a clean sheet and gave some boys some minutes.
“I am pretty sure it is rare to have a game like this in the knockout stages.
“We needed to be serious and we were so all good.
“Of course, we want to win two games at this stage.
“When you watch the game you always think ‘oh come on, a little bit more here or there’ but they did well and it is all good. The attitude was outstanding.”
