Man United misfit Matteo Darmian seems to be no short of suitors, as a number of Italian big guns are gearing up to fight for his signature, this is according to reports on the Express.
The Italian right back has struggled with injuries and lack of game time since moving to Man United from Torino in a £12 million back in 2015.
He has featured only three times in the league this season, with Mourinho preferring Antonio Valencia ahead of him at right back.
However, his travails have not affected his reputation in Italy, and has instead increased interest in his services, with Juventus believed to be leading the race to sign him.
The Serie A champions are currently in search of a right back after missing out on Dani Alves to French side Paris Saint Germain in the summer.
TuttoMercatoWeb believe Darmian could leave this January, and a move back to Turin looks to be on the cards, but this time the destination will be Juventus.
They won’t be alone in their pursuit though, with league leaders Napoli and Roma also interested in signing the Italian international.
Matteo Darmian has never really had it going at Man United from the start, and if a replacement is gotten, he won’t be missed at the club.
