Man Utd set to beat Arsenal to sign this £50m rated star – Club agree to sell

Arsenal have been monitoring Manchester United target Malcom Silva according to The Daily Star and have sent scouts to watch him at Bordeaux on occasions this season.

The Brazilian wonderkid moved to Bordeaux from Corinthians in January last year and took time to adapt, he scored just two goals and made one assist in his first six months. In 2016/2017 season he improved with nine goals and seven assists in 45 appearances.

This season however he has further increased his performances and has been impressing scouts, with seven goals and five assists already at this stage of the season. His performances this season has not gone unnoticed.

Manchester United are already in the race to sign him with a £33 million bid being readied, but it is believed that Bordeaux are demanding £50 million for anyone that will come after him.

Arsenal’s scouts have been impressed by Malcom’s performances this season and a bid might materialize soon.

Arsenal already have youngsters Alex Iwobi and Riess Nelson (who though might not be at Malcom’s level now, but looks like they will soon), if they should be going after an immediate target I feel they should be looking to a more established player, Julian Draxler has been touted.
