Report making the round claims Chelsea are on the brink of announcing a double done deal for Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho from Napoli.
Sarri was replaced as Napoli boss by Carlo Ancelotti in May but the Italian club kept him on the payroll, forcing Chelsea to negotiate a compensation fee.
A deal for Sarri is understood to have now been agreed, with his arrival at Chelsea expected to be announced imminently following the sacking of Antonio Conte yesterday.
Calciomercato who cited Sky Sports claims Jorginho have passed medicals and he is expected to be announced alongside Sarri a deal which is reportedly amounting to around €65 million for both Sarri and the Italy midfielder.
With the club’s managerial situation finally sorted, the focus will now turn to revamp the squad which could only finish fifth in the Premier League last term.
It is understood a number players might be leaving when Sarri takes over the helm of affairs at Chelsea.
