Manchester United are considering a move for Arsenal and Chelsea Scottish left back Kerian Tierney from Celtic in January as they look to bloster their squad during the January transfer window according to the Metro.
Tierney has become a key player for Hoops since breaking into the first team in 2014 aged just 17, making over 110 appearances for the Scottish Champions and has attracted interest with his impressive performances.
United already have Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Rojo in that position, but manager Jose Mourinho has lost faith in all of them preferring to use Ashley Young there for most of this season, prompting the need for a new left back.
They have been linked to Alex Sandro for a while but now see Tierney who is also being tracked by Arsenal and Chelsea as a cheaper alternative.
United are also monitoring teenage star Ryan Sessegnon at Fulham, but it is believed Mourinho wants a more experienced full back, which will give Tierney the edge.
At just 20 years old, Tierney has three Scottish league titles to his name, and three years of Champions League experience under his belt.
