Sir Alex Ferguson has said there is no big signing to save their title for next season, but he needs a couple of players to sign.
Manchester United has not done make transfers like Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham, but they have succeeded in Premier League with title. The Reds arch rivals Manchester City and Chelsea has failed with big deals this season, but Chelsea has Europa League final on hand for silverware.
Manchester City also has FA cup final to finish this season as title less journey. Finally, Robin Van Persie has earned his first Premier league title in his career.
Ferguson told: “We have to take the fact that other teams are going to strengthen into consideration. You also have to consider ages of some players but in the main we know where we are in regards to players.”
“We have great strength in depth,”
He added: “We don’t want to confuse ourselves and have too many players. Any time I have asked the Glazers they have delivered.”
Manchester United is going to play Chelsea on Sunday at home, but they have failed to do well against the Blues in last few years. Ferguson stated that statement and they are looking to finish the season with greatest wins.
“Chelsea are chasing a Champions League position too so we should be playing as strong a team as we can,” he said.
“Chelsea have done fantastically over the last few weeks and they have reached the Europa League final so it should be a good game. We have not done well against them over the last few years.
“Hopefully we can put that right on Sunday, it is time for us to play with enthusiasm and enjoyment and try to finish off the season.”
After entering to Europa League final, Chelsea has good form and they can lift their first Europa cup. Manchester United match is vital one too so we have to wait how Rafael Benitez is going to prepare and present the team for two big matches in end of the season.
