Chelsea managerial situation hasn’t stopped the club from sending young prospect out on loan to continue to develop.
The Blues have announced that Joao Rodriguez will not be at the club next term as he will spend the campaign in Spain.
A club statement read: “Joao Rodriguez will spend the coming season on loan in Spain.
“The 22-year-old striker from Colombia is joining second division side Tenerife, having spent the previous campaign in the second tier in Mexico at Tampico Madero.”
Rodriguez, who joined Chelsea in 2013, has had nine loan stints away from Stamford Bridge already and spent the last term at Tampico Madero in Mexico.
Meanwhile- Antonio Conte is set to leave and be replaced by Maurizio Sarri but that has still not been officially confirmed.

Rodriguez arrived from Deportivo Quindio as a 16-year-old, and was immediately loaned back to the Colombian top division side. Since then, he’s joined eight different teams, including Uniautónoma in his home country and SC Bastia under the tutelage of Claude Makelele. Other stops included Vitoria de Setubal in Portugal, STVV in Belgium, and a couple more Colombian sides in Santa Fe and Cortuluá.
