Crystal Palace could make a move for Jack Wilshere when the January transfer window opens, according to reports.
Wilshere’s future at Arsenal is currently uncertain and it is looking like it will take a miracle for him to remain here beyond the current campaign.
He’s been linked with a move to Turkey in recent weeks, with Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor said to be keeping tabs on him.
He could now get the chance to remain in England with Crystal Palace.
Palace new boss Roy Hodgson is a big fan of Wilshere and he could make a move for the midfielder in January.
This is according to the Daily Mail via Sports Mole, which claims Hodgson knows Wilshere well from his days as England manager
The report says if Wilshere’s situation at Arsenal doesn’t change before Janauary, Hodgson will launch a bid for the midfielder.
Wilshere played his first game for Arsenal as a substitute against Koln and did well. He showed he can still be one of the best in the league.
Coquelin’s injury has opened up a path back into the first team for Wilshere and it remains to be seen if he will make the most of the opportunity.
The decision makers at Arsenal could well give him the chance to play for the club in the future if he manages to prove his fitness.
