Real Betis are willing to bid their time in their pursuit of Jack Wilshere.
The Spanish club is apparently keen on Wilshere and they are believed to have set aside a January bid for the England international.
However, the uncertainty surrounding his future is complicating things for Betis. No one knows what Arsenal wants to do with Wilshere.
The midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the season and Wenger insists a decision will not be made on his future until December.
Arsenal are likely to offer Wilshere a new deal if he manages to stay fit between now and the December but Tribal Football is claiming the midfielder could decide to move elsewhere considering the limited playing time he is suffering at the Emirates.
The report says Betis will be waiting on the wings to sign Wilshere if he turns down Arsenal’s contract.
It also added that the midfielder is ready to listen to offers from interested clubs and Betis have already made the first move by contacting his representatives.
I am sure there are many Gooners like me out there, hoping that this story doesn’t gather any momentum. We would love to see Wilshere here for a long time and I am sure the midfielder will want that also.
He might not be playing regularly but I expect him to sign a new contract here when he is offered a new one and that will put an end to Betis’ interest.
