Arsenal target Jean-Michel Seri has issued a come-and-get-me plea to his suitors, as he pushes for a move to the Premier League.

The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates all summer but it is Barcelona who have been the closest to signing him.

However, the proposed move to Barcelona fell through, leaving the player furious with his club. Despite the disappointment, Seri is still hoping to secure a move before the transfer window closes and he is open to a switch to the Premier League.

“Is the Barca move dead? I want to be optimistic and think that there are still options,” Seri told Spanish outlet, Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by the Daily Cannon.

“Let the two clubs talk quietly again and come to an agreement.

“We are not talking about any club, where you are going to sign for money.

“I want to sign for big European clubs, like Juventus, PSG, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool.

“For example, Roma, has made several offers.

“I have spoken many times with [Rome director] Monchi and this transfer has not happened either because of economic reasons.

“Monchi got tired of the leaders of Nice!

“Roma was a good choice, but nothing to do with Barca.”

The midfielder is reportedly available for around €40m, which wouldn’t be a problem for Premier League clubs.

Arsenal fell apart on Sunday against Liverpool and one thing that was obvious in that game was the fact that the team needs quality injection, it remains to be seen if Wenger will address that issue by signing Seri.

Arsenal Agree swap Deal For Mesut Ozil With FC Barcelona star plus cash

According to reports from the Mirror, Arsenal are preparing themselves for a swap deal-plus cash with FC Barcelona. The Gunners will send playmaker Mesut Ozil to the Spanish side for winger Arda Turan along with a considerable amount of money before Thursday’s transfer window closure.

Ozil has one year left on his current Arsenal contract and the two sides have failed to come to terms on a new deal. Turan has had a disappointing spell at Barcelona since arriving from Atletico Madrid in July 2015 for £31 million. Barcelona is ready to send the Turkish flop to the Emirates along with cash for Ozil as the team look to overhaul their ageing side.

Arsenal are in the midst of  losing both Ozil and Alexis Sanchez for free next season, and the lose of both without compensation could be incredibly damaging to the club.

Marseille are considering a swoop for Liverpool forward Divock Origi, reports claim.

It’s believed Origi, 22, is fearful of losing his place in Belgium’s World Cup squad having been reduced to a bit-part player at Anfield.

And he’s seriously considering his options.

According to Marseille Mercato, Origi is firmly on the Ligue 1 club’s radar with a bid worth £13.8million expected in the coming days.

There’s plenty of time for Origi to rediscover his own form, but consistency rather than impact has been his issue at Anfield up until now and Solanke, along with a fit-again Daniel Sturridge, means there’s extra competition to face.

Huge Transfer Update For Arsenal As Jean-Michael Seri Transfer 90% Done

Arsenal are on the verge of missing out on Nice midfielder Jean-Michel Seri, as Barcelona are closes in on his signature.

The 26 year old midfielder is reportedly a top target of Arsenal but Wenger is yet to make a concrete bid for the midfielder.

According to a report in the Daily Cannon, Seri is now edging closer to a move to Barcelona.

The report claims the midfielder’s move to the Camp Nou is 90% done.

BarceloNa are determined to strengthen their squad and are now set to add Seri to their star-studded midfield.

It’s being claimed the midfielder is considered as a replacement for Andres Iniesta, who is already in the twilight of his career. Barcelona have been working on a replacement for the Spaniard for sometime and it was in November they identified Seri as a potential replacement.

However, the Côte d’ivoire international wasn’t their first choice, they wanted Philippe Coutinho but Liverpool are reluctant to sell, forcing them to turn their attention to Seri.

Gooners had been hoping Seri would be the much needed successor to Santi Cazorla but Barcelona’s interest means we will have to continue our search for a successor to the Spaniard.

Arsenal will be disappointed to lose out on a talented player like Seri but it was only going to be difficult to compete with a club who just received £200m from Neymar’s sale.

Zidane resumes rivalry with Luis Enrique at El Clasico

With ten points separating La Liga leaders Barcelona and third placed Real Madrid heading into this weekend’s El Clasico, the fixture does perhaps not provide quite the hype in which has surrounded past meetings between the two. However, after a dominating 4-0 victory for Barcelona earlier on in the season, Zinedine Zidane will be determined to make amends as he comes up against old foe Luis Enrique for the first time as a manager. Over the years the two men have encountered each other many times on the field, and now bring their rivalry to the managerial stage as they take charge of their respective sides. Enrique will be looking to continue his excellent record against Madrid, having won over half of his El Clasico fixtures as a Barcelona player.

Aiming to win their fourth back to back La Liga title, Barcelona go into the fixture against a wounded animal in Madrid, who have struggled for consistency throughout this season. With key battles taking place all over the pitch, many will be hoping that the post match talk surrounds the football, rather than on pitch shenanigans and unsporting behaviour in which has marred recent matches.

The BBC vs MSN is gaining much of the attention in the build up to the game. Barcelona’s trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar Jr have been in scintillating form this season, contributing to a combined sixty nine La Liga goals between them. Meanwhile, Real’s front three of Benzema, Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo have lacked their usual firepower in front of goal, leading to the downfall of the Bernabeu side so far this campaign. They will certainly have to bring their A game if Madrid are to achieve their first victory at the Nou Camp since 2012. Head to where Zidane’s men are 5/1 on to close the gap on Barcelona come Saturday night.

The rivalry between the two teams has only heightened in recent years, with the battles between the likes of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola bringing a whole new element to the historic fixture. Zidane will certainly be hoping to have a long reign with Madrid, and if he does so will no doubt have to improve his side’s recent record against the Catalan giants. The Frenchman will be doing his all to maintain a sense of calm within his team, with past occasions in the past on occasion being dominated by disciplinary issues. Madrid are 3/1 to have a man sent off at the Nou Camp.

Neymar vanished the Messi Shadow

Neymar’s electrifying four goals have proved that he is no more under the shadows of Lionel Messi, who is sidelined due to injury.

Brazilian’s top class performance against Rayo Vallecano helps his La Liga side to share the top position with Real Madrid. Neymar used this opportunity very well and he may get big price tag in January window.

Four-goal haul has impressed Barcelona coach Luis Enrique. There was a speculation about an transfer approach from Manchester United for this young talented on summer window.

Enrique told: “Neymar is electric and at the moment defenders only have two choices when facing him: commit a penalty or let him score,” Luis Enrique told a press conference.

“In one word, he was breathtaking.”

Neymar is feeling very happy after his big show in big club, which earned three silverware in las season.

“I’m very happy with the victory and with how we played, because Rayo are a great team and we struggled against them,”

“I can’t explain how I do what I do because it would be giving clues away, but it is all down to lots of practice.”

Can the Old Lady upset the Catalans?

Lionel-Messi-Champins league

You could be forgiven for thinking that all Barcelona have to do is turn up in Berlin on June 6th to carry home the Champions League trophy without too much complication. This seems to be the consensus view of the football analysts all around Europe who have more or less written off the chances of “La Vecchia Signora” (the Old Lady as Juventus are nicknamed).

But not so fast, as they say. Juventus are notoriously hard to beat and have proved particularly dogged in this competition so far – as previous holders and cup favourites Real Madrid found to their cost over two legs in the semi-finals.

The fact that Juventus haven’t had a huge amount of competition on their home soil may be an advantage. In short, they’ve had a relatively restful season comparted with their Catalan counterparts who had to battle hard to emerge victorious in La Liga. In the Serie A betting, Juventus were hot favourites this season and will be again next season – and they have proved worthy of that honour in winning the Italian league at a relative canter.

In Spain, however, Barca had to fight hard all season long to win out in the end by two points from perennial rivals Real. Their season has been long and exhausting and for a team that relies on quick passing and intense football for 90 minutes. The hard season could end up costing them dear in Berlin. In short, they could well fall at the final hurdle to a Juventus side renowned for its ability to win games whatever the cost. And that cost is usually unattractive football, a high degree of “gamesmanship” and a lot of writhing in agony following faux fouls.

But so be it. This is always the way with the Italian powerhouse and when the chips are down, they do whatever it takes. And for the neutrals, this all adds to a wonderfully entertaining spectacle. The beautiful game may suffer a little as Messi (pictured above) and co. get somewhat stifled and hacked to the ground now and again – but the spectacle of panache versus persistence doggedness is interesting nonetheless.

And don’t forget that the weight of history shows it to be a far more even contest than the odds suggest. In the all-time head-to-head between the two clubs, Juventus have won four times, to Barca’s three, with two draws. That said, the two clubs haven’t met since back in 2003 when they played twice in the Champions League and drew 1-1 on both occasions. That time, Juventus went through 2-1 after extra time – and this kind of proves our point; the Old Lady does what she needs to emerge victorious.

Barcelona haven’t appeared in the Champions League final since 2011 when they beat Manchester United 3-1. Meanwhile, Juve’s last final appearance was 12 years ago when they lost on penalties to fierce rivals A.C. Milan after a typically Italian 0-0 draw.

Of course, Barca have a very special player in the shape of the all-time Champions League top scorer Lionel Messi. But Juventus have prolific scores of their own in the shape of Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata and they have a winning mentality.

Arsenal Set to Complete Double Deal for £40 Million

Arsenal are set to unveil Alexis Sanchez as their marquee signing of the summer while negotiations to bring in Mathieu Debuchy could also conclude by this week. Arsenal have been in negotiations with Barcelona for the transfer of Sanchez. The Catalan giants are willing to sell the Chilean international in order to raise funds for the signing of Luis Suarez. Arsenal have had to fight off competition from Juventus for the 25-year-old. According to Sky Sports, they are now on the verge of completing a £30 million deal.

A £10 million deal to bring Debuchy from Newcastle could also be completed as well. Both signings will represent major additions to the squad. Debuchy’s arrival is especially of importance given that Arsenal lost Bacary Sagna on a free transfer to Manchester City in the last few weeks. Despite being extremely strong in the midfield, Arsenal have decided to go for Sanchez.

The 25-year-old is extremely versatile and can play up front as well. He demonstrated his versatility during Chile’s World Cup 2014 campaign.

Arsene Wenger was refusing to spend money on big players not long ago. However, he has seen first-hand from the FA Cup success last season that experienced players are vital in a squad. Arsenal’s transfer business may not be over yet, as the club could still bring in a midfielder. There are also believed to be in negotiations for Victor Valdes, who will be available on a free transfer. Valdes’ proposed move to Monaco has not gone through because of a failed medical.

Reports: Barcelona Offer £70 Million for Liverpool Star Luis Suarez

Barcelona are looking favourites to land Luis Suarez from Liverpool after the clubs held the first round of talks in London. According to reports, Liverpool have made it clear to Barcelona that they value the player at £80 million and that it has not reduced despite the recent controversies. Barcelona are not far from the figure with the Spanish club reported to have made an offer in the region of £65-£70 million.

It may not be surprising to see the two clubs come to a deal in the next few days, as there is not much separating them right now. It was initially thought that Barcelona were willing to offer Alexis Sanchez in exchange, but such an eventuality depends upon the Chilean open to a Liverpool move.

Suarez recently came out with a public apology for the bike controversy surrounding Chellini, but Spanish football expert says that the player may not have apologised on his own. Barcelona reportedly made him come out with this apology so that it would allow the club to present the player in a good way to the media. As expected, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has been talking a lot about Suarez’ commendable character to come out with an apology when people least expect him to do so.

After scoring 31 goals last season, it may seem that Luis Suarez may have played his last for Liverpool. Suarez would then continue the tradition of the last four PFA Player of the Year winners switching clubs in the subsequent summer.
