According to reports, Arsenal are prepared to let Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain complete a move away from the Emirate stadium this summer.

Reports making the round suggest Chelsea are closing in on a £40m deal for the England international.

The Ox will be out of contract next summer and has refused t sign a contract extension despite reports suggesting he was offered a £180k a week deal at Arsenal.

Now reports have emerged claiming Arsenal wants a deal done quickly for the for the former Southampton man before the transfer deadline.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has made 198 appearances for Arsenal since joining them from Southampton in August 2011, would be the first arrival since the Italian said he wanted to sign four more players.

Chamberlain on his way to Chelsea as Wenger finally agree to sell him

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Arsenal are ready to sell Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain to Chelsea, after he rejected the club’s latest offer, according to the 101 great goals.

The Ox on Thursday rejected Arsenal’s final contract offer worth £180,000 a week and has asked the club to let him leave.

Arsene Wenger is now expected to inform the player in the next few hours that he will be sold before the transfer window closes.

Chelsea and Liverpool have been monitoring Chamberlain’s situation closely and are expected to launch big bids for the England international.

Antonio Conte is prepared to part with £35m to sign the midfielder and he is growing increasingly confident of completing a deal before Thursday’s deadline.

Although Wenger doesn’t want to let Chamberlain join a rival, he could be powerless because of the club’s resolve to let Sanchez, who is also into the final year of his contract, run down his contract.

Yesterday, Wenger stated Chamberlain is indebted to Arsenal because the club spent so much money and time on his development but the midfielder doesn’t feel that way and remains adamant he wants to leave the club.

Chelsea are currently favorites to sign the winger and this baffles me a lot. One of the reason the Ox wants out is because he wants to play in his preferred central midfield position but he is unlikely to break into Chelsea’s first team in that position.

Arsenal have already done its part by offering the player more than he originally asked for and since he remains adamant that he wants to leave, I think we should bite off Chelsea’s hands when they come in with the much anticipated £35m offer.

Nice Midfielder Jean-Michel Seri On His Way To Arsenal After Sending Message To Wenger

The Gunners acted swiftly to sign Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer from German side Schalke back in June.

And they then followed that up with a £52million deal for Alexandre Lacazette, who arrived from Ligue 1 giants Lyon.

However, Arsene Wenger knows more players are needed if the Gunners are to finally end their agonising 14-year wait for the country’s biggest prize.

Nice’s Jean-Michel Seri has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirate stadium this summer.

Now, Jean-Michel Seri has issued issued a ‘come get me plea’ with Arsenal name as one of the clubs he’d like to play for via Sport Witness

“I want to be optimistic and think that there are still options,” Seri told Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo. “Let the two clubs talk quietly again and come to an agreement.

“We are not talking about any club, where you are going to sign for money. I want to sign for a big European club, like Juventus, PSG, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool… For example, Roma has made several offers.”

” Disgrace ” A Team With No Ambition- Club Insider lambast cowardly Arsenal

Having been torn to pieces in their humiliating 4-0 defeat at Liverpool, a similar fate befell Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal in the post-match post-mortems.

Wenger’s players were variously described as “lazy”, “pathetic”, “arrogant” and “disgraceful”, while the manager himself is under scrutiny once again just three months after signing a new two-year contract.

“Last season, I called them ‘cowards’,” former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher said on Sky Sports after Sunday’s match.

“And afterwards maybe I got a little bit of criticism. Maybe that’s a bit too strong and you can’t say that on live TV, but I’ll say it again –- cowards.”

“How can you play like this in a big game for so many of Arsenal’s players?” asked former Manchester United captain Gary Neville.

“Forget not turning up, forget not playing well, but just the general attitude or lack of respect for the shirt from three or four of them in not running back and not bothering is disgraceful.”

Arsenal great Thierry Henry, analysing the game for Sky Sports, confessed: “At one point I wanted to leave. I didn’t want to watch the game anymore. It’s too much to take.”

While it was Arsenal’s defensive shortcomings that were exhibited at Anfield, the player who featured on almost all the British newspapers’ sports pages was star forward Alexis Sanchez.

The Chile international was despondency personified as he traipsed to the dugout following his 62nd-minute substitution.

After the game, he took to Instagram to post a caption-free picture of himself sitting on his haunches on the Anfield pitch and dejectedly gazing at the ground.

Sanchez has been repeatedly linked with a move to Manchester City and Henry said none of Arsenal’s players could be blamed for casting glances elsewhere.

“Everything that you see on the day has been happening for the past 10 years,” said the Frenchman.

“We talk about Sanchez and is he staying, but they are not going to want to be part of this team. That is why players are not renewing their contracts. They can see something is wrong.

“The word I have used for a long time — comfort. Everyone is comfortable at Arsenal. It’s not the same pressure you have at a big club. Everything is… nice.”

The Daily Mirror branded Arsenal “a lazy, arrogant, broken team with no ideas and no hope” and directly blamed Wenger, who last led Arsenal to the title in 2004.

The Sun called Arsenal “lazy” and “pathetic” and said their torment at the hands of Firmino, Salah and Sadio Mane represented “a new low”.

The Times called it “unacceptable, unwatchable, unforgivable”.

“not acceptable ” Wenger Needs To Leave, He Has No Business With The Club

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger giving his own take in the 4-0 defeat at Anfield on Sunday; he revealed his side’s performance is “not acceptable ” and admitted they had been an “easy Opponent” for Jurge Klopp side.

The Gunners were swept aside at Anfield in a way that was embarrassing at times as Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and substitute Daniel Sturridge got on the scoresheet.

Asked afterwards about what had gone wrong for his side, Wenger – who opted to drop record signing Alexandre Lacazette to the bench and saw Alexis Sanchez fail to sparkle on his return to the team – said: “Everything.

“I think from the first to the last minute we were not at the level requested for such a game – not physically, not technically, not mentally were we at the level, and we were punished.

“That’s basically it. You can analyse the chances we gave away. But I just think overall the performance was not at the requested level.”

Arsenal’s previous two Premier League matches this season had seen them beat Leicester 4-3 at home, then lose 1-0 at Stoke.

And Wenger added: “I believe in our first two games we looked quite good – our performances were good.

“But today the performance was not acceptable at that level. It is true that today we were an easy opponent for Liverpool.”

When asked why the performance had been so sub-standard, the Frenchman said: “That is a question that is very difficult to answer straight away after the game.

“There are some reasons, but I don’t think I have too much to comment on that now.”

Wenger was asked about reports suggest Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain might be allowed to leave.

He said: “That is not the kind of question I can answer after a game like that. What will happen in the transfer market in the next three or four days I don’t know.”

Asked further about Shkodran Mustafi, he said: “Similar question, similar answer.”

Club Desperate As £13.8m Star Signing Expected To Undergo Medicals In Coming Day

Marseille are considering a swoop for Liverpool forward Divock Origi, reports claim.

It’s believed Origi, 22, is fearful of losing his place in Belgium’s World Cup squad having been reduced to a bit-part player at Anfield.

And he’s seriously considering his options.

According to Marseille Mercato, Origi is firmly on the Ligue 1 club’s radar with a bid worth £13.8million expected in the coming days.

There’s plenty of time for Origi to rediscover his own form, but consistency rather than impact has been his issue at Anfield up until now and Solanke, along with a fit-again Daniel Sturridge, means there’s extra competition to face.

Transfer Update: Monaco Finally Agree To Sell Thomas Lemar

Follow Footballbible on all social media platform to get up to date football related news from the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and other leagues around the World.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea may get the chance to sign Thomas Lemar late before the transfer window closes, according to reports.

The Gunners have already had three bids rejected for the playmaker but could now get a chance to sign him in the next few days.

We know Monaco have been reluctant to let him leave but reports in France claim all that could change as the Ligue 1 champions could lose three more of their title winning squad in the few days left in the transfer window.

Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho are reportedly closing in on a move to PSG and Le 10 Sport claim Lemar could follow the duo through the exit door.

According to the report via the Metro, Monaco are now considering letting Lemar leave.

This will come as a big boost to Arsenal who have been chasing the midfielder all summer.

Wenger recently hinted he would be waiting around the corner, should an exceptional player becomes available before the window closes and he will definitely be boosted by this report.

However, we may not find it any easier even if Monaco now decides to sell. Barcelona and Manchester United were linked with him recently and they could join the race to sign him once he becomes available. Hopefully, our long standing interest should put us in an advantageous position for his signature.

Last Seasons Top Four EPL Predictions For Next Season

footballbible

The Premier League season may have just finished but already everyone is making EPL betting predictions and what might be. The summer transfer market is filled with hope and dread for fans as they may find that hidden gem or end up losing their star player. It is a vital window for the top four clubs who are the favorites to win the EPL next season and below I will take a look at all of their chances of being crowned champions next campaign.

Chelsea

The Blues will be most pundits EPL Betting tips for next season’s champions and rightly so after winning the EPL. It will be harder for them next time around as they will have to cope with the demands of playing in the Champions League as well this time around.

It looks like star player Hazard will be staying but a lot could change before the season kicks off. If they are going to keep the title they will need to keep hold of him along with strengthening their backline. Another striker is also a must for when Costa goes through his bad patch which normally happens each season. Last time they won the EPL they fell apart the following season but I can not see that happening again this time around.

Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs are best placed to challenge for the title next season as their current young crop of players has been together a few season now. Each campaign they get better and if they can slightly improve on last season they could finally win the title.

They are in desperate need to add another striker to act as cover for Harry Kane if they are going to win the EPL. It also looks like Walker may be off to Manchester City so another full back will be required. The main stumbling block that could affect their chances will be that they are playing their home games at Wembley. They have a poor record here and will need to change that or they may even struggle to qualify for the Champions League again.

Manchester City

City is the second favorite to win the Premier League next season but the EPL online betting odds could well change before the season kicks off. They are investing early and heavily in world-class players which Pep Guardiola thinks will turn his team into champions. The manager will have learned a lot in his first season in English football and now he gets a chance to build a squad capable of winning it.

Liverpool

If the EPL just had the top six teams playing against each other every week, Liverpool would be top. They play brilliantly against the best clubs in the division but lose too many points against the lower ranked teams. If Klopp can find leaders to add to his squad that can change the mentality of the players during these types of matches, they are in with a great chance. They will also need to keep hold of their star players which could be difficult for them. If they can do this and finally get their transfer dealing spot on, they will be fighting for the title next year.

Jurgen Klopp: Gerrard is younger version of Ferguson

steven-gerrard-jurgen-klopp

Five wins in a row in all competitions and chances are more favorable to finishing in top-flight Premier League position. These are the new achievements of new manager Jurgen Klopp in England.

He did the same with Borussia Dortmund in Bundesliga and led them to a top contender in all major tournaments. Now it can possible in Anfield too. Klopp transformed the team with what he has, no new signings and no big price tag players.

Liverpool is silently moving upward since his arrival from Germany.  He wants to bring some new blood to team during January window.

He got call from Sir Alex Ferguson and he revealed their phone conversation to media, but he cropped it.

Klopp about Alex Ferguson: “He said congratulations and the rest is private. But I’ve had the huge honour of meeting him a few times and of course he is a role model for every manager in football.”

“It was a big pleasure because he’s a funny person and something like a book of history in football so it was good to spend some time with him.”

Last week, former Liverpool giant Steven Gerrard was appeared in Anfield and did some training with players and new manager.

He compared Gerrard with Ferguson: “He has the same thing as Alex, only a younger version, It’s good to have him here.”

“It’s very important to us because we can show that if you behave like Steven Gerrard in the years he was here and work like he did, then the door has to be open always and that’s what we’re doing now.

“Everybody knows him better than myself so it’s good to have him around because he’s a nice person and all the players love him.” He concluded.

Klopp expecting for a louder game in Anfield

jurgen klopp liverpool

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]iverpool is going to play Europa League under new manager Jurgen Klopp and it’s a first home match for him. Last week match against Tottenham proved that Liverpool is changing after Klopp’s arrival.

This time they are going to play in Anfield and it will be a big match and good entertainment for the fans. Liverpool is missing some key players due to injury, but they can hold the opponents with new game plans.

About his first home match:

Klopp said: “I’m really looking forward to this game, it’s by night, by light and a special atmosphere,”

“It’s my first home game and hopefully we can take this special atmosphere and transport it into the game. I want to go there, I want to feel it. That’s what we’re all waiting for, these special moments.

“Of course if somebody wants to surprise us and be louder and wilder than ever in your life, try to! We have to concentrate but we have to be open for help from outside. If somebody wants to help us then that’s cool.

“This Europa League is quite open. It could be a big step for us in this group. We want to see the next step in our development. We have this experience of the Tottenham game. It wasn’t perfect but it was a step in the right direction.

“Now this is completely different. Tottenham press hard and that was why the game was so wild. Rubin Kazan have a special style in play. We have to be very careful and concentrate and fight for the second balls because they play long balls.

“We have to be organised and be fully concentrated in set-plays because they are taller than us. That is the challenge. But hopefully we’ll be a bigger challenge for them.

“We have to be patient, in a football way. I hope no-one is waiting for it to be 4-0 after three minutes and is then disappointed.”

It seems Klopp is going to take the Europa League a lot more seriously than others.
