VIDEO – He is better than Ronaldo and Messi!

This street freestyler showed immense football skills! Guaranteed, you didn’t see this kind of tricks in your life. Could he be better in dribbling than these two superstars, Ronaldo and Messi? Take a look.

Pari Saint Germain outrageous offer for Messi!

Pari Saint Germain rich owner wants Lionel Messi in his team. How far will he go to land the four time winner of the best player in the World contest? Reportedly, Pari Sen Germain will make a world record, cracking offer of 210 million pounds to Barcelona in January, and they will also make Argentinian the best paid player in the World.

Messi told the press that he will finish his career in Barcelona, but this season is different for him. He is injured, out of action, and he watches Neymar, the young summer signing from Brazil, how quietly stealing the show from him. Brazilian became team leader in no time in Messi’s absence, so it maybe have effect on Argentinian ego.

There is a never ending fight with Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese is winning this round, and if we put money on the line, Messi could have enough motive to accept a big offer from Paris. It is a long shot, but French will try to force his way out of Barca for sure.

Messi vs Aguero, Barca vs City!

Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi

The Champions League eight-finals draw brought together two great friends and compatriots – Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi.

Probably the biggest clash in first knockout round of Champions League is Manchester City vs Barcelona. Pellegrini’s side will have tough task to put down the best team in the past decade, but if they want to win a trophy, they probably would have to beat Barcelona sooner or later.

Barcelona won’t be happy with this either. Clubs like Olympiacos, Schalke and Galatasaray got into the knockout round, and they’ve got powerful City.

Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi will be central figures in this clash, and we can expect a battle who will score more goals. Both City and Barca have problems with their defensive approach and quality, perhaps conceding goals too easy, and powerful attacks which they will play against probably will make this game bundled with goals.

So, he will score more? Messi or Aguero?

Barcelona lose their perfect start to the season

Tata Martino was furious yesterday watching his team lose their perfect start to the season after only managing to draw 0-0 away to Osasuna yesterday evening.

Barcelona were in complete charge of the game up in Pamplona, and had by far the vast majority of chances to get on the score sheet yet just could not get the ball over the line allowing Osasuna to become the first team in a couple of years able to keep a clean sheet against the Catalan giants.

The draw was the first points Barca has dropped following nine straight wins that had then level on points with Atletico Madrid who were also enjoying a perfect start to the La Liga season.

When talking to the press after the match Martino said: “The draw is insufficient. We should have won, given the chances we created. We weren’t accurate in front of goal.

“(But) I’m pleased with the team’s performance.

“I would be concerned if there had been a decline in our performance. We tied because that’s how it had to be. I don’t think our level has dropped.

“In the first half we were missing that final pass. We were off by centimetres.

“In the second half we had four clear chances and gave the opposition no opportunity to counter-attack.

“Osasuna are a dangerous team on the break, but they did not create anything of danger.”

The Champions League clash midweek at the San Siro against AC Milan could also have been on the mind of the Argentinian coach as he rested several key players ahead of that match, and also this season’s first Classico at the Nou Camp next Saturday

Messi started the game on the bench after missing two games for Barcelona along with the recent World Cup qualifiers for Argentina due to a thigh injury, while also absent from the game were Dani Alves, Gerrard Pique and Alexis Sanchez.

Messi came on with 14 minutes still remaining in the match but failed to convert the two half-chances that came his way.

“We were planning on Messi playing between 20 to 25 minutes,” Martino said afterwards. “I wanted to give Leo 20 minutes ahead of the games against AC Milan and Real Madrid.”

Carlos Puyol started for the first time in seven months with the 35-year-old captain looking as though he had not missed a game.

The defender had undergone knee surgery earlier in the year, and agreed with the coaches comments saying: “We knew it was going to be a tough game,” he said. “It’s a difficult ground to go to, and we had our chances and controlled the game. We lacked that final pass.

“We’ve picked up another point, and, despite going for all three, it wasn’t to be. We controlled the game but weren’t that sharp in the final third.”

When asked about the visit from real Madrid on Saturday the Barca captain said: “It’s some way off. What you have to do is take one game at a time.

Now we’re thinking about the game (against Milan) on Tuesday.”

It was not all bad news for Barcelona though as the only other team that had a perfect start to the season Atletico Madrid lost 1-0 away to Espanyol thanks to an own goal by Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who when going for a cross from Juan Fuentes saw the ball bounce off his arm and go into the net.

The 54th minute goal was enough to give the Catalans the win which puts Diego Simeone’s side second in the table one point behind Barcelona, and now just two points ahead of Real Madrid who won at home 2-0 against Malaga.

Who is going to beat Barcelona?

Unless you live in Spain or follow La Liga you will hear very little about the man who took over from Tito Vilanova , Argentinian Gerardo Martino yet this man is responsible for the club having a perfect  record of eight wins from eight straight games something that no other Barcelona coach has ever done.

Tata as Martino is affectionately known now has his sights set firmly on another club record a perfect start to the first half of the season which Vilanova nearly achieved last season when seeing his Barcelona team finish the half with 55 out of a possible 57 points their only failing being a two-all draw with Real Madrid in the Classic.

The Catalan giants continued their unbeaten run with a 4-1 victory over Real Valladolid at the Nou Camp Saturday night minus the goal scoring ability of Leo Messi who is currently injured, and while most managers would be more than content with a 4-1 win Tata was not happy at all with Barcelona conceding the first goal after Javi Guerra put the visitors in front with a set piece something that Tata says they must work on so that it would not happen again, as this was the first time all season that they had been behind.

Fierce Rivals Real Madrid have had a touch and go start to their season scoring 10 goals in two Champions League matches, but failing to lesser opposition at home in the domestic league drawing with newly promoted Villarreal, losing to Atletico Madrid and only just managing to beat both Elche and Levante in minutes added on.

Atletico Madrid has also seen a perfect start to the season level on points with Barcelona five ahead of Real Madrid.

The big test for Barcelona will come on the 26th of this month when they play the first of this seasons Classic’s against Real Madrid at home Messi should be fit, and Real Madrid will be eager to show the world that it is not how you start a season that counts, but how you finish that matters.

Messi: “I’ve never met Martino”

Barcelona’s star striker Leo Messi wants to have nothing to do with the signing of new coach Gerardo Martino who also happens like Messi to be from Argentina.

Following lasts nights pre-season friendly between Barcelona and Bayern Munich which the Germans won 2-0 when questioned by reporters about Barca’s new coach Messi said:

“I don’t have anything to do with it, or anything to explain. It’s for the president and the club to decide. At the time I said that I thought he was a good coach, but I don’t have anything to explain.”

“I don’t know him personally, I’ve never met him, neither him nor Luis Enrique who was the other candidate being talked about. I think it’s a good appointment because he will bring something extra, and he’s shown what he’s capable of both at Newell’s and in the Paraguayan national team. I hope he’ll be good for us”, he added.

The new coach is expected to fly into Barcelona’s El Prat airport this afternoon and head straight for the Nou Camp to sign on the dotted line.

Tata as he is known could fly out to Oslo later in order to watch the team’s next friendly against Valerenga where he will watch the match from the stands, and later meet the players for the first time.

Martino’s first game in charge will be against Polish outfit Lechia Gadnsk on Tuesday in a match that had to be rescheduled due to Tito Vilanova’s illness.

Messi also mentioned that he had not seen former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola while in Munich preferring to talk about the season ahead.

“We’re starting again after what happened with Tito, we have to be prepared for a tough year”.

Barcelona was last season’s La Liga champions and have signed Brazilian starlet Neymar, but I think Messi is right it is going to be much tougher for the Catalans this season.

Cruyff says Messi and Neymar could be a risk

I thought it was an interesting article I read this week when former Dutch international Johan Cruyff said that if he was in charge at Barcelona he would have sold the man everyone considers to be the best in the world Lionel Messi before having signed Neymar.

The ex-Barcelona player and manager is hugely admired in Catalonia so his words are always listened to by the Barca fans for whom he will always be a member of the family.

The Dutchman claims that had he still been a director of the club that he would not have signed Neymar as he see’s problems in the future trying to accommodate the two star players.

‘No, I wouldn’t have signed Neymar,’ Cruyff told Marca. ‘With Neymar on board, I would have planned for the possibility of selling Messi – and some would agree with that, others not.

‘You are talking about a team, its players, the things around it … There are too many things at stake. That’s why it’s so difficult to manage such a top class squad.’

One of the reasons Cruyff gave was the question of who would be the man to take Barcelona’s free kicks as even though it had been a job normally performed by Messi the young Brazilian us also very good at them as you can see in the Video below scoring an absolute howler of a goal that flew past Italy’s Buffon before the keeper could even react.

Another reason for a possible confrontation said Cruyff:

‘Is the fact that Neymar and Barcelona are with Nike while Leo is with Adidas. These are situations that could cause problems.

‘We’ll have to wait and see – it could turn out well or badly,’ he added. ‘It’s a risk.’
