The Premier League trio of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are set to battle over Bordeaux’s Brazilian ace Malcolm.
Man United manager Jose Mourinho declared interest in the Brazil under- 23 international after having him scouted on numerous occasions all season.
United seemed to be favorites to sign Malcolm until just before Christmas when the Gunners allegedly made an approach for the Brazilian winger.
The Brazil international has been a shining light for Bordeaux all season, contributing directly to several goals in his 20 games across all competitions so far.
Unsurprisingly, this according to Goal Brazil has lead to a lot of attention from the biggest clubs in Europe, Manchester United and Tottenham, as well as Bayern Munich and Arsenal who recently joined the race.
While Wenger waits for a club to meet the £35m set for Alexis Sanchez, Gunners supporters seem satisfied as Malcolm is seen as a suitable replacement for contract rebel Sanchez.
Despite Bordeaux’s preference for the Brazilian international to stay until the summer, by which time he would presumably have earned a higher price bid in their estimations.
The reports claim that the Brazil under 23 international youngster will not be blocked, should he push for a move as long as their valuation is met.
