Clubs interested in signing Alexis Sanchez in January will have to stump up a £30m bid, according to reports.

Sanchez’s contract expires at the end of the season and doesn’t look like he wants to sign a new deal with Arsenal.

He will be free to enter into negotiations with Interested club in January and then agree a pre-contract in view to joining any of them for free in the summer.

Arsenal do not want to lose the striker for nothing at the end of season and reports claim we would entertain bids in January.

According to the Sun via Soccer Lens, Arsenal will demand £30m for Sanchez in the new year.

In a normal circumstances, it will be difficult to find a club willing to pay that much for a player with just six months left on his contract but Arsenal believe the number of clubs interested in the Chilean will cause a bidding war which would play into our hands and drive his fee closer to our valuation.

The report claims Sanchez remains keen on a move to Manchester City, after a failed deadline day move to the Etihad.

Sanchez established himself as one of the Premier League’s top centre forward last season with 23 goals and 12 assists to his name. His versatility makes him one of the best in the world and will be a big loss if he leaves Arsenal.

However, getting £30m will be a great business considering the amount of time he has left in his contract.
