Andreas Christensen missed the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion due to illness and will be assessed ahead of the home meeting with Stoke City.

If passed fit, he could replace Antonio Rudiger, though Gary Cahill could make way with the Arsenal clash in mind.

Victor Moses has started the last four matches, so Davide Zappacosta may be handed a start at right wing-back, with Marcos Alonso set to continue on the opposite flank.

Antonio Conte reverted back to a 3-1-4-1-1 system against the Seagulls, and after only playing five minutes on Boxing Day, Danny Drinkwater could push for a start in central midfield in place of either Tiemoue Bakayoko or Cesc Fabregas.

Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata look set to spearhead the attack, with Pedro and Willian only likely to come into contention if Conte reverts back to a 3-4-2-1.

David Luiz and Charley Musonda remain out, but according to Conte, are “improving a lot.”
