Arsenal vs Red Star Belgrade
UEFA Europa League – Group-stage 2017/18
Date: Thursday, 2nd November 2017
Kick-off at 20:05 UK/ 21:05 CET
Venue: Emirates Stadium (London).

With a 100% win record in the three matches so far, Arsenal can qualify for the knockout stage of the Europa League with a win against Red Star Belgrade on Thursday.

A late goal from Olivier Giroud was the difference when the teams meat at Belgrade two weeks ago. The Gunners bagged their third win on the bounce to go top of the group, while Red Star suffered their first defeat of the group stage.

Arsenal can qualify for the knockout stage with a win or a draw if Bate fail to beat Koln. Red Star are level on 4 points with BATE and occupy the second and third spots while Koln are rock bottom losing all their three games so far.

The Gunners are coming on the back of a hard earned 2-1 win against Swansea on the weekend, which stretched their winning streak to four matches in all competitions. The home form is particularly good as they are won in all 8 matches so far this season.

Meanwhile, Red Star bagged three wins on the bounce after the 1-0 home loss to Arsenal, all in the Serbian Super Liga. However, our focus is on their away record in Europa League over the past couple of months. They did pick a narrow win at Koln on match-day 2. But that is only their second win in 10 road games in the competition. So, we have to understand that they are not a team that enjoy the away nights.
