Nemanja Matic was forced off with a muscle problem in the 4-2 victory over Watford and is a doubt ahead of the trip to Arsenal.

But Jose Mourinho revealed the Serbian will travel with the squad. Marouane Fellaini remains out with a knee injury, though, while Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are also unavailable.

So if Jose Mourinho sticks with the 3-4-2-1 formation used in midweek, Ander Herrera looks set to be on standby to replace Matic, with Paul Pogba taking the other central midfield slot.

Jesse Lingard impressed playing alongside Anthony Martial in the central attacking midfield positions but Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford are both viable starters.

Romelu Lukaku should continue as the lone striker, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic the alternative. If Mourinho keeps faith in a three-man defence, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof all look set to start once again.

Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young are expected to retain their starts, either as wing-backs or full-backs. Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind provide defensive cover.

Michael Carrick (illness) misses out, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to remain out of favour.
