Manchester United joins three other Premier League teams in eyeing the transfer of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax this summer, with the player reportedly available for just £25m.
The Mirror write that Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are all eyeing the 26-year-old’s transfer this summer. The Morocco international has two years left on his deal, but he’d be available for just £25m, according to the report.
Ziyech, who has a contract in Amsterdam until 2021, has made 128 appearances for Ajax, scoring 38 goals while contributing 58 assists.
Ziyech has spent most of this season playing on the right wing, though he’s also capable of playing on the left or in the middle. He could provide a fairly cheap and incredibly talented boost to Arsenal’s wide options, an area the team has struggled with this season.
Unai Emery is desperate to bolster his Arsenal squad in the summer after the Gunners’ quiet January transfer window, and Ziyech’s bargain price will appeal the club’s board.
Liverpool will also strengthen Jurgen Klopp’s dressing room, even if he leads the club to the Premier League or Champions League title.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are expected to enjoy a busy summer with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side faltering after a bright start to the Norway legend’s reign.
