[4-3-3] Fred, Sanchez and Lukaku Start, Shaw and Dalot Dropped in Man Utd vs Wolves best XI

Phil Jones is fit and available for selection for United this weekend, though Ander Herrera (ankle) and Marcos Rojo (knee) remain sidelined.

Nemanja Matic and Marcus Rashford are suspended, meanwhile. Jose Mourinho said he won’t risk Diogo Dalot against Wolves after the teenage full-back made his first senior start for the Red Devils in the win over Young Boys on Wednesday, so Antonio Valencia will likely come back into the side at right-back.

Ashley Young could deputise in this position, too, but may instead start ahead of Luke Shaw at left-back given the latter played 90 minutes in midweek.

The Shaw/Young decision looks too close to call, though the former was again impressive against the Swiss champions and Mourinho may decide to field him once more for the visit of Nuno Espirito Santo’s troops.

Fred and Andreas Pereira are the leading candidates to replace Matic, while Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez seem set to return to the starting XI after being rested in the Champions League.
